Dry, easy-drinking wine that is smooth and easy to drink, despite its kowamote brand name. The grape-like fruity aroma flows down your throat while cutting through the dryness. It is sweet but dry. The nuance is similar to that of Shibobotan.
I usually don't buy many bottles of sake, but I bought this one because it can be stored at room temperature.
I bought it because it can be kept at room temperature, but it was kept in an unheated room, so it was rather cold.
When I drank it, I found that it had a clean taste, but it also had a good umami.
I think I like it better when it is heated up.
I would like to keep this sake on hand because I don't get tired of drinking it and the flavor doesn't change even after opening the bottle. How about in summer?
Some people have already introduced it,
This sake is brewed by Suzuki Sake Brewery, which was damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake, to support the victims of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. Kadoya Sake Brewery is also participating in this project and will donate a portion of the sales price.
It is really a wonderful project.
The taste is a mature and refreshing jungin. However, it has a mineral taste unique to this brewery. I wanted to see what it was, so I kept drinking more and more. It is gently delicious, but you can feel its core.
Serve with pickled asuyo leaves from Hachijojima Island.
Koshihikari sake. Gentle acidity and sweet aroma. The sweetness of the rice is gradually released. But the sharpness is clean. A light gaseous feeling.
Iwaki Kotobuki Junmai-shu - Tairyo Celebration Yamabuki
15% 65% 720ml 1580yen
Koshihikari rice produced in Namie Town.
They use a method called "Shin Gin Seibai" (not Ginjo-shu) which does not remove too much of the necessary ingredients.
It has a slightly golden color and a full flavor. I quite like it.
I had drunk the Junmai (12% alcohol by volume) from the Nagai brewery before and wondered what it was all about. I was surprised to find out what it was, so this time I was able to reevaluate it. I would like to try a draft of this one, too.

The company's mission is "to bring the charm of sake to as many people as possible,
The sake is named after copper, which has been familiar to the Japanese people since ancient times,
It is a junmai sake from the Suzuki Shuzo Brewery.
The sake is designed to show its true value with aging.
This sake is brewed with "in-house yeast" that miraculously survived the earthquake, using koji mold from Nada's Kenryo,
It has a mellow, umakuchi taste with a mildly matured and dense flavor.
The rich flavor is best enjoyed with simmered fish.
The strong core of this sake also makes it a perfect match for a wide range of dishes when heated with wari-mizu.
We hope you enjoy it.
Sake that I was interested in before
A unique alcoholic beverage with a mellow aroma
Mellow aroma and
and freshness unique to freshly squeezed sake
and freshness unique to freshly pressed sake.
I want to support this brewery!
It's "revive".
The same 🍶 that Rafa papa was drinking.
Suzuki Sake Brewery lost their brewery in the Great East Japan Earthquake. After brewing sake in Nagai, Yamagata Prefecture, they returned to Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture in 2021 to brew sake.
Rebirth" is made with "Sawanohana" rice, a fantastic rice from Nagai, the place where the brewery was able to revive itself. Previously, a portion of the sales of this sake was donated to parties affected by the nuclear power plant accident.
This year, as a result of the brewer's visit to the Shirafuji Brewery of "Okunoto no Shirakiku" to see the area, it was decided to accelerate the release of "Rebirth," originally released on March 11, and donate a portion of the proceeds to Wajima and Suzu cities, which were severely affected by the disaster.
Our own Kadoya Sake Shop, an interesting liquor store in Ibaraki City, Osaka Prefecture, also supported this move.
Kadoya Sake Shop will also donate the same amount.
First, a cool drink.
The sake has an acidic aroma with a hint of ginjo and alcohol.
The mouthfeel is smooth, with the sweetness of the rice spreading with a moderate acidity, which gently fades away while giving a sense of umami, and the acidity is short and crisp, and it finishes with a crisp finish at the back of the throat.
At near room temperature, the mouthfeel is softer and the spread of sweetness and presence of umami can be felt more strongly, and the fragrance has a pleasant ginjo aroma.
Our thoughts are with those affected by the earthquake.
Good morning, Aladdin 😀
As expected, Aladdin and Rafa papa got this sake 😀.
The other day, I visited Kadoya-san for the first time after getting Shinshu Kamerei, but I gave up because I had too much luggage!
Good morning Rafa papa 😃.
I'm a four-pack 😅I'd reserve it if I got such an even hotter than usual email from the owner: ☺️
I thought heated sake goes well too 🍶😊 I'll try it again.
Good morning, Yasube 😃.
I'm currently on purchase restriction, so I went the other way and just bought this one 😄I'm on a restraining diet because I always have my cellar full and I don't want to be unable to buy Noto or Hokuriku sake or drink and support sake 😅.
Good morning, Aladdin 🐥.
I was looking at Rafa's and Yadoya's instagrams, nice support 😊Aladdin-san is also drinking and I am amazed at your great energy 👍✨.
Hi Pon 😃
Kadoya-san's e-newsletter is always long, but this sake reservation information e-mail was good with detailed information about Daisuke Suzuki's story etc. 😊 We are thankful that we can just buy and drink it: ☺️
It is a limited edition sake that is usually sold from March 11 to express the wishes of the victims of the earthquake. This year, it was shipped on New Year's Day to raise funds for the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
Even without that background, it was a junmai ginjo-shu that left a strong flavor of rice that made me want to drink it again.
We may be called a nobody in this blessed environment of eating delicious rice and drinking delicious sake, but we hope to contribute to the recovery from the earthquake, even if only a little.
Classic brand labels.
I haven't received much of the other one.
It was still a classic taste 🎯.
