A cup of sake purchased at Isetan Shinjuku. This Iwaki City sake brewery moved to Nagai City, Yamagata Prefecture, after the earthquake. They must have been making it under the policy of a man of the sea all along. It has an austere cemedine smell and a firm acidity.
Osaka Odenkyu" at Grand Front and "Banjo Kotobuki Kosmosu" in Namie, Fukushima Prefecture. Junmai Ginjo...a fruity sake with a nice aroma. Osaka Oden is also delicious.
It's been a very long time since I've had a Banjo Kotobuki: ❗️
This sake is the god of Fukushima FM and sake
Kenji Suzuki, the god of sake (sorry 😅 didn't know that
I didn't know that 🙏).
❗️
I don't think it has much of an aroma 🤔.
The taste is slightly peachy.
It has a refreshing yet umami taste.
and the aftertaste is dry. ❗️
I paired it with a chige hot pot (chige nabe) this time.
It was a good match.
It's a delicious sake that goes well with any meal 😊.
The second in a series of crosses made with people connected to the Iwaki Kotobuki brewery: ‼️
It has a citrusy freshness and bitterness like apples. The acidity is moderate and the taste is light and sweet.
It has a dry and refreshing taste.
Next is Iwaki Kotobuki
This bottle is made with yeast from cosmos, the town flower of Namie.
Speaking of Banjo Kotobuki, the image of this sake was one of firm sweetness and deliciousness, but this is different. It has a refreshing sweetness and acidity, a soft and rounded aftertaste, and a refreshing acidity and bitterness at the finish, making it quite easy to drink.
This is good!
Thank you very much for the sake!
