ᐢ˶🍶🍶🍶+ Today I opened another cup of Kamotsuru cup that I bought on my business trip to Hiroshima 😀. The aroma is mild😊and the mouthfeel is soft, with a mild sweetness and a strong sense of rice flavor and sweetness 😚 It is a delicious traditional sake with a sharp aftertaste 🥳.

Drinking out after a long time. At a skewer shop in the neighborhood. After the beer, we drank Kamotsuru with Hiya. The aroma has a strong alcohol feeling, but the taste is soft and refreshing. However, the sweetness, umami and sourness were not felt so much, and there was no depth. I was happy to be able to drink out after a long time.

Ask for other all-you-can-drink options! First up is Kamotsuru. You don't see this kind of sake very often. I love this kind of Showa-era atmosphere that you can sometimes find. I don't remember the taste. Thank you very much for the sake!

Mild aroma Firm chou-wa sensation. The sweetness of the rice and the sizzle are refreshing and clean, but the strength of the sizzle is not overpowered by the slight sweetness of the rice, so it tastes great! IWC Award Winner

☀️ Saijo Sake Festival 2025🍶. Next we went to the main venue park ⛲️ I'm going to take a break and try a drink called "Lemon Sake Kash" 🍋. It seems to be Saijo sake 🍶 + lemon sour 🍋, not sure which brewery the sake 🍶 comes from🤔. After paying, I watched them making the lemon sour and they were pouring a jar of lemon sour 🍋 and then pouring it from a bottle 🍾 of Kamotsuru 👀. Too bold 🤣. Check in brand name is Kamotsuru 😄. We had it with pork skewers 🐷🤗.

☀️ Saijo Sake Festival 2025🍶. Next stop: Kamotsuru. Instead of the tasting zone right at the entrance, we went into the premier sake zone, which is a bit further back 😁. There is a gold medal winning sake and a Junmai Daiginjo Hiroshima Nishiki. The Gold Award-winning sake was unexpectedly expensive, so I got the Hiroshima Nishiki 😋. You can pick up the flavor of the rice 🌾 and the delayed bitterness. There is a refreshing acidity, although it is not clearly perceptible. The more I drank, the more the umami of the rice🌾 stood out, and it was clean and dry. This year, it was a collaboration with Chibo. It is an interesting experiment unique to the event, and it is very festive. ⤴️

A sense of maturity after one summer (although it doesn't feel like summer is over). The rich taste and bitterness spread slowly in the mouth. It looks delicious even when heated.
