Purchased at Pon Shukan on the way back from a business trip to Niigata. The freshness of new sake, the richness of orikarami, and the bubbly taste were delicious. Takachiyo is as always a good value for money.
Takachiyo is a favorite among Niigata sake breweries.
Takachiyo is a historical brewery founded in 1868. It is a good sake that warms up well. It's a hard, hot, delicious sake with a noticeable spiciness that is best served simply with tofu.
Since I was able to get home early today, I took the time to eat it with okra.
Lightly sweet
Slightly carbonated with a bluish ginjo aroma
Moderately sweet with a strong acidity that tickles the tongue.
The aftertaste is alcoholic.
Flat polished rice 65
This sake is only available in Niigata Prefecture.
It is easy to drink as the sourness comes shortly after the sweetness.

Next, we had a drink at this restaurant, which the owner bought on a recent trip to Niigata.
Takachidai Niigata Limited Edition Junmai-shu.
The aroma of rice with a hint of spiciness, the soft taste on the palate, and the sweet aroma with a deep and pleasant aftertaste.
Like the "Yukio Niigata Prefecture Limited Junmai Sake Aizan" that I drank before, the Niigata Prefecture Limited series is very tasty 😋.
Although the timing was good, it was nice to be able to drink a regional limited edition 🥰.
This one goes great with the pickled firefly squid ✨.
salty (taste)
Slight aroma, smooth attack. It has a deliciously dry taste. It goes in smoothly and has a light richness.
Accompanied by wasabi with yam. Goes well with 🤣.
