It was indeed very strong. Moreover, the sake is brewed with only a small amount of water, which is called jumizu-jikkuri, and it is said to have a strong flavor.
We started with cold sake. Next time, it was too thick, so I added ice. It was still quite strong. Finally, since it was summer, I drank it with soda. It was nice to be able to taste the sake even when it was mixed with soda.
