First day of silver wedding trip
In Matsue, we took a sightseeing boat around the national treasure Matsue Castle and its surroundings.
The weather was mixed with light rain, but the boat ride was long (45 minutes) and there was a lot to see. ❗️
The boatman's guide was so interesting that we took the boat twice with a visit to the castle tower in between 😆.
However, the pub we wanted to visit in Matsue was closed.
And it was raining outside ☂️, so I lost the energy to go out for a drink 💦.
So we decided to buy some side dishes at the hotel and have a drink 😅.
But don't worry 😁.
We already got some Izumo sake at a souvenir store near Matsue Castle. ❗️

Toyo no Aki Special Junmai Sake
A famous local sake from Matsue
It was raining in Matsue in the evening and it was getting cold, so we decided to warm up the sake!
I used the hotel's kettle to heat up the water and it was hot 😅.
It is characterized by its acidity and umami, but I think the acidity is the strongest among them!
It may be an overused expression, but it is a taste that sinks into all of your internal organs!
