A mini bottle of kotsuzumi nama sake that I ordered last year at a nearby restaurant.
Kozutsumi is always safe to drink, but this one tasted even better than last fall.

When you put it in your mouth, the first thing that comes to the tip of your tongue is a tingling, numbing microbubbles.
Next comes a refreshingly sweet, youthful melon flavor.
Then, the spiciness that comes to the back of the throat.
Finally, a nice aroma that lingers in the nose.

Initial flavor has a Pronounced acidity stings the back of my tongue. Umami sweetness lingers. This is very nice to drink by itself.
Oh! Mixing the 澱 really brings out a much fuller flavor. Delicious!
Pairs well with sashimi/sushi. Does not lose to Okra 朝付け.
Can’t wait to try other sake from this 蔵。
