A trophy from a long trip to northern Kyushu.
It was purchased at a corner store in Saga Prefecture, where it was love at first sight.
According to the owner, this year's performance is very good, and it seems to be showing good results in show races.
It is very mellow, sweet, and juicy with a low acidity, and has a luxurious taste that makes you feel as if you are eating a whole pear.
I was impressed that this is the Aizan rice.
Drink comparison (2)
The labels and pink sake are cute 🩷.
Just like it says on the label.
It was dry and tasty!
(A situation I no longer remember in detail...)
Aroma of pineapple.
It has a delicious flavor and juiciness, and the bitterness gives it a sharp taste that makes it hard to get tired of drinking. Delicious.
Omachi
Nadeshiko Yeast
Gorgeous aroma of muscat and white flowers.
Juicy-sweet compared to its spicier predecessor.
(A little light in the Amabuki sense?).
The rice flavor comes later, and then the sizzling flavor.
The back palate has a smooth acidity and bitterness,
It finishes pleasantly while leaving a lingering aftertaste.
Medium-bodied.
Taste: 3/5 stars.
We had a sake party at Sake Yume, an all-you-can-drink sake bar in Dogenzaka, Shibuya, which opened earlier this summer.
It is a +12, but it has a nice rice flavor and softness that makes it perfect as a mid-meal drink!
It has a nice crisp aftertaste.
