It has a pungent spiciness and umami flavor with a fruity aroma that quickly passes through the nose. It has a strength of 20 because it is a pure sake, but it is very easy to drink.
drinking at home (as opposed to going out)
Yesterday, we went to see the icicles in Ogano, beyond Chichibu.
We took a family drive to see the icicles in Onouchi Valley. 🚗
After waiting until sunset to see them, we had soba noodles and waraji katsu donburi at a restaurant that sponsors the event.
After watching them, we had soba noodles and waraji katsu-don (pork cutlet served on top of a bed of rice) at a restaurant that sponsors the event.
There was a liquor store across the street from the restaurant,
Chichibu Nishiki and enjoyed it after returning home.
I enjoyed it after I got back home.
I didn't feel the ginjo aroma much, but it was easy to drink,
It was easy to drink.
I am looking forward to drinking it warmed up. I'm looking forward to it 😄.
I had this to go with it.
Jay & Nobby Good evening. 😊
The straw cutlets were quite large and seasoned.
I looked for some Chichibu Nishiki as well as Muko-Masamune Ginjo, but there wasn't any.
I looked for not only Chichibu Nishiki but also Buko-Masamune Ginjo, but there was none, so I will leave it for next time.
😢.
This is a mellow sake. However, the alcohol is a little persistent. The richness that spreads over the tongue as soon as it enters the mouth is very nice, but the taste disappears unexpectedly quickly, leaving no aftertaste. The top aroma is nutty.
The liquid has a slight yellow color, and there are few but long legs.
Next is a sake from a brewery I visited during my pilgrimage to the "Anohana" anime sanctuary. Honjozo, which I don't drink very often. The alcohol content is 20 degrees! The aroma is that of a robust sake. Yet, when you put it in your mouth, it doesn't have the robustness of honjozo, but has a sweetness, high alcohol flavor, and a nice sharpness! I think I have changed my perception of honjozo.
A jar of sake. The wild aroma spreads to the palate. It is a country sake, in the good sense of the word, with a strong mouthfeel. It is delicious and inexpensive (about 1,300 yen), so I have no complaints.
Yao Honten, Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture
Special Junmai Nigori Nama Shu
Alcohol 15%.
Rice polishing ratio 60
Sake degree +2?
Yeast No. 9, Saitama G
Purchased at the booth in front of the station at the Chichibu Night Festival as last year.
It feels more effervescent than last year, so much so that the oriel inside rises when the bottle is opened.
Aroma, fruity, pear, melon, apple, isoamyl acetate and slightly caproic acid type aroma, refreshing and aromatic.
Taste: The supernatant portion is clean and light, with a strong fruity flavor that is refreshing and easy to drink.
When mixed with the oli, the lactic acidity becomes stronger and the mouthfeel mellows out. The aftertaste is slightly astringent and slightly dry. It has a strong melon taste with a hint of apple and pear. The sweetness is followed by lactic acidity, and the aftertaste is sharp and slightly astringent, giving it complexity.
The melon flavor seems to be from the No. 9 series, while the apple and pear flavors seem to be from Saitama G. It is fruity, but that is not all. It has a fruity but not only fruity taste, and it is very drinkable. This is delicious!
Taste 8/10
CHICHIBUNISHIKI CRAFT SAKE Junmai Ginjo Omachi Rampage
The round mouthfeel gives off a melon-like sensation. Slight sweetness. The aftertaste of bitterness.
