The aroma is sweet and floral.
The mouthfeel is soft and sweet, but soon after, one can taste the pungency of alcohol and a slight acidity. The aftertaste is refreshing, but a little astringent and pungent.
However, you do not feel the alcohol level of 20 degrees Celsius.
Alcohol 20 degrees Celsius
Sake strength: high
Acidity Slightly low
Star ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Jarred sake is sake that has not been modified in any way, which has dripped from the press of the mash.
Freshly squeezed sake from the jar 2025. Alcohol content 20 degrees.
The balance of spiciness and sweetness makes you go for it even if the alcohol content is high 😍 #Drinking at home #Drinking with dinner
One year aged sake in a jar.
The first sip of this pale yellowish sake has a full rice flavor. Then the mellow aroma that wafted through my nose.
I have never been a fan of sake that has been aged for a long time, but this was delicious!
Kinuhikari polished rice 60
Seemingly limited to Kashiwaya. The aroma is rich and sweet.
It is sweet. It is also thick. It has a long aftertaste.
It is not fruit-like, but sweet like mirin (sweet cooking rice wine). It tastes like the pure sweetness of rice condensed.
It has a pungent spiciness and umami flavor with a fruity aroma that quickly passes through the nose. It has a strength of 20 because it is a pure sake, but it is very easy to drink.
drinking at home (as opposed to going out)
Yesterday, we went to see the icicles in Ogano, beyond Chichibu.
We took a family drive to see the icicles in Onouchi Valley. 🚗
After waiting until sunset to see them, we had soba noodles and waraji katsu donburi at a restaurant that sponsors the event.
After watching them, we had soba noodles and waraji katsu-don (pork cutlet served on top of a bed of rice) at a restaurant that sponsors the event.
There was a liquor store across the street from the restaurant,
Chichibu Nishiki and enjoyed it after returning home.
I enjoyed it after I got back home.
I didn't feel the ginjo aroma much, but it was easy to drink,
It was easy to drink.
I am looking forward to drinking it warmed up. I'm looking forward to it 😄.
I had this to go with it.
Jay & Nobby Good evening. 😊
The straw cutlets were quite large and seasoned.
I looked for some Chichibu Nishiki as well as Muko-Masamune Ginjo, but there wasn't any.
I looked for not only Chichibu Nishiki but also Buko-Masamune Ginjo, but there was none, so I will leave it for next time.
😢.
This is a mellow sake. However, the alcohol is a little persistent. The richness that spreads over the tongue as soon as it enters the mouth is very nice, but the taste disappears unexpectedly quickly, leaving no aftertaste. The top aroma is nutty.
The liquid has a slight yellow color, and there are few but long legs.
Next is a sake from a brewery I visited during my pilgrimage to the "Anohana" anime sanctuary. Honjozo, which I don't drink very often. The alcohol content is 20 degrees! The aroma is that of a robust sake. Yet, when you put it in your mouth, it doesn't have the robustness of honjozo, but has a sweetness, high alcohol flavor, and a nice sharpness! I think I have changed my perception of honjozo.
