Asahi Ei drinking comparison. The green one is Gohyakumangoku and the brown one is Asahi no Yume, which is rice rice.
It is a little difficult to tell the difference.
It is slightly sweet and clear.
The sweetness is moderate and soft. It is like a sweet wine that goes in and goes out.
Compared to other brands, it is quite sweet. I was a little surprised. I realized that I don't have absolute sense of taste.
After work, have a drink.
I got off at Akabane station and walked around a lot, but as a result, I went in to a restaurant adjacent to the station.
I had seen it and knew it existed, but this was my first time to go in.
When I went in, it was a Friday, but the place was thriving. ❗️
Just by looking at the menu, you can see that they are very particular about their food.
And the sake is from Mimasu Sake Shop in Akabane.
Asahi Ei in Tochigi City.
The lady at the store poured it vigorously saying "It's a refreshing sake like the morning sun ❗️" and it overflowed a little. 😅
Refreshing taste ❗️
It feels cool and cool minty.
It's LIVE and fun to enjoy an unfamiliar drink in a new pub.
Good morning, Mr. Hiraccio 😃.
Izakaya 🏮 exploration! Nice 😊.
Sake as refreshing as the morning sun! Asahi Ei‼️ this is a phrase that would work for a first drink in the morning in Akabane 😆.
Good morning, Jay & Nobby 😊.
Yes, a fresh morning sunrise Ei🌅.
There are many restaurants where you can drink in the morning in Akabane ❗️
This restaurant also opens at 1100 so you can drink in the morning👍.
Hiraccio, nice restaurant next to the station, but the closing curry 🍛 is indeed young😅!
By the way, how was the site of the big fire in Akabane? I thought standing oden🍢 was dangerous.
Harry's was a surprisingly good place👍
I tend to eat when I'm hungry after a night out drinking, 😅.
I didn't go to the street where the fire happened, but Maruken Suisan🍢 seems to be back in business.
The 11th drink.
I was hungry because I had eaten only pickled plums, ume crystals, and vinegared squid, and the all-you-can-drink time had just arrived, so I changed the restaurant.
Sardine rolled with nori, cod chrysanthemum ponzu, seared yellowtail sashimi, and zaru soba to finish.
It was dry and sharp, and the fat from the sashimi was washed away easily. It was delicious.
Masaaki Sapporo-san Good evening.
It was partly due to the all-you-can-drink policy, but I drank too much 😅.
I can get my money's worth after 3 or 4 drinks 😆.
Personal preference 3.6/5
Rice polishing ratio 55
Alcohol content 16
I took the liberty of getting this one when I went back to my parents' house.
I didn't know the brand, so I picked it up even more (Sure enough, they found out I drank it the next day).
It is easy to drink, with a mild mouthfeel and a lingering aftertaste of sweetness from the rice and a crisp, dry sharpness.
I was staring at the computer for a long time that day and my eyes were tired... I got drunk after 2 glasses 🤔.
I think it's better to refrain from drinking it when you're tired 💦.
Thank you very much for your hospitality!
Good evening Mr. Ofuji😃.
That's awesome that your parents have a sunrise ranger at their house 😁.
Your choice is very astringent! I once bought some at a liquor store in Kyoto after the brewer told me about a distributor in Kansai 😊.
Good morning, Ofuji-san 😃!
Asahi Ei-san ‼️ is one of the few female toji in Kita-Kanto 🤗It's clear and refreshing, perfect as a food sake 😋Please enjoy it with a meal next time 👋 Tochigi Ai🥰!
Hello bouken ✨
It just so happens that we have a division of roles, me for trendy drinks and my parents for hole-in-the-wall drinks lol.
I asked them where they bought it, but they said they had too many and forgot 💦.
Hi Jay & Nobby ✨
Yes 🫢It sure looked really good as a food sake! I hope the toji-san keeps up the good work🎶.
I'll post more of my other Tochigi sake 🫡.
Good evening, Ofuji. Asahi Ei, I have had this sake once, and it was so clear and beautiful that I wanted to drink it again if I had the chance. I envy your parents💕.
Hi Hirupeco ✨
It was refreshing and easy to drink - it had been open for a while, so I wanted to have it freshly opened!
My parents have some sake at home that I haven't had yet, so I'm aiming for it 😏.
This one was recommended to me by a new clerk.
The aroma is rather sour.
The taste is mild, with a hint of sweetness and gentle acidity.
The end of the bottle is sharp and sharp.
Well, well, today that I drank.
It is really delicious.
It's hard to describe it otherwise: sweet, sour and slushy.
Drunk, today's gratitude is scraped off before it turns into a feeling.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm leaving behind the shame of leaving behind the things that are not worth mentioning, and I'm thankful that I was able to drink sake today, too.
