Last night I went fishing for red squid 😀 I caught more than last time, but not as many as usual 😓This time I caught 18 squid and the terminal price was about 380 yen per fish, which is a price I can easily eat 😭
Today we had sashimi of the red squid we caught and Ryuki 😄The aroma is mild and apple-like 😭. The aroma is mild and apple-like 😭The sweetness and umami of rice spreads in the mouth, followed by sourness 😊The aftertaste is not persistent as the sweetness seems to disappear gradually 😊It was a delicious sweet and tasty sake 🥰.

It is Nagareki every time.
I was going to make this year's Peach Color only from the first batch, Gohyakumangoku, but the third batch was newly released using three different types of sake rice: Tamakae, Yamadanishiki, and Gohyakumangoku, so I bought it.
It has a low alcohol content of 9 degrees and is easy to drink, with a good balance of sweet and sour.
It became slightly sweet and sour as the day went by, so I thought it would be better to leave it.
Note that they do not use red yeast rice.

I ended up drinking 15 kinds of drinks lol
It was hard to take pictures of the individual sakes at the booth where they were being poured... so I'll just use pictures of what was on display.
Sake I drank for the first time: Kangiku's Ken Aizan, Ryuki's Morpho, BUNRAKU, and Hijirizumu.
The easiest to drink were YAMORI and NOZOMO
The most delicious were Kangiku's Leap Day and Sei's Yamada Nishiki 50

I got some cod sprouts and was thinking 🤔 what to pair them with, so I chose this one👍 after reading the comments 📝 on sake-no-wa.
The color is like a spring haze. The aroma is fresh, with a hint of sourness, like calpis.
It is smooth in the mouth. However, it is less sweet and more refreshing than I expected. It might be good on a hot day like today.
With spring tempura. I think the cod sprouts were the best match. The texture is firmer than I expected and the bitterness brings out the sweet and savory taste of this sake. ❗️Yah 😅Next is the asparagus and last is the udo. I think udo is a bit strong by itself. But it's delicious though 😃.
Rice: 100% Yamadanishiki produced in Shiga prefecture.
