This is my first time drinking Oita sake. I tasted it both at room temperature and lukewarm. It has a rather light flavor, but it is very easy to drink and I enjoyed it very much.
unadulterated sake
Dark rich. Rare in Nishi no Seki in draft. It is very rich. Amachitsukoku Umakara. I like the color transition of the flavor. Aroma of honey. 92 points.
Sweetness:3.7
Dryness:2.7
Hinted aroma:3
Acidity: 3.7
First of all, it has a strong aroma of sake, and when you drink it, the flavor and sharpness of the rice comes through with a strong taste.
The alcohol content is 17%, so it is easier to get drunk than usual.
I have a business trip coming up this week, which only happens a few times a year, so I don't want to open any new drinks 🤔.
I bought this one I saw at the convenience store 🏪 right in front of my house
It's Sandesi from Nishinoseki.
It's still midsummer heat, but I'll have a Hiyoroshi 🙏.
I can feel the acidity strongly in the cold sake... but in the second half, it is light and disappears quickly!
As the temperature goes up, you can strongly feel the sweetness and umami 😋 between modern and classic 🤔.
Easy to drink cold, my preference is cold 🥰.
The label had an impact, so I looked at it and saw that it was "Nishi no Seki," which I drink frequently, so I bought it for the first time in a while! I was so glad to see it!
When I opened the bottle and poured it, the aroma was sweet like sugar candy.
The mouthfeel is soft and sweet, almost vanilla-like. The slight sourness that comes in a little bit counteracts the dullness of the sweetness, and it is a pleasant taste that matches the moderate sweetness and mildness of the rice!
The flavor is the exact opposite of the strong label. You can enjoy it slowly and calmly.
The directionality of the flavor is similar to that of the "Kitanokatsu" that we opened yesterday, and we think this one will also give an outstanding performance when warmed up 👍.
A trio of "KITANOKATSU" and "KITANOKATSU".
We will enjoy this trio in a relaxed comparison style, while thinking about the easternmost point of Japan and the Kyushu region ✨.
Just before Obon!
It was not so bad in Sendai, but the people in Iwate had a tough time. We would like to extend our sympathies to those affected by the disaster.
First Nishinoseki. I heard it is in the Hall of Fame as a sake that goes well with eel.
The top-tasting aroma is softly fruity.
The mouthfeel has a clear sweetness and firm umami. The aftertaste has a slight sake-like aftertaste, and is refreshingly light and crisp with a moderate acidity and bitterness.
The heaviness of the first half and the lightness of the second half are fresh and delicious!
The reason why this wine is in the Hall of Fame may be because it adds umami to greasy eel and drains off the fat in the last half of the bottle.
Thank you very much!
Hi Colonel Lal 🐦.
I'm so sorry to hear about the typhoon 🌀😰I'm relieved to know you are safe🙏.
I like the sake that goes with the eel 😳great for the fat and sauce👍.
Pon-chan, at ease 😁.
The typhoon in Sendai was nothing to worry about😅I just got carried away by the media 😅.
I can understand this even though I have a stupid tongue! Eel and oichi-yami are the best match 🤘.
Oita Prefecture, Kunitachi City. Kayashima Sake Brewery Ltd.
Nishinoseki Handmade Junmai
Yes, this is Nishinoseki.
I don't drink much sake from Oita, and the small bottle made it easy for me to try it even if I had never had it before.
I had it cold.
The color is clear and colorless.
The top aroma is slightly sweet with a grain-like aroma and alkali aroma.
It has a thick flavor and rich sweetness, and is full-bodied and mellow. It also has a slightly nutty flavor.
The aftertaste has a classical Japanese sake flavor.
As the temperature rises, the acidity becomes more apparent, the classicality subsides, and the taste becomes mellower.
I prefer it at room temperature.
