I've been curious about this drink for a while 🍶.
Refreshing aroma with a hint of sourness 😌.
Soft, with a hint of sweetness 🎶.
Roundness with a hint of sourness ✨.
Slightly fruity with a spicy finish 😉.
At taverns.
It said "Niigata rice". What kind of rice?
The sake was good, but this izakaya was too far off the mark...
If the food was good, the sake would have been even better... too bad...
It is rich and has a strong umami flavor. But is it a little milder and easier to drink than "Funaguchi"? It's good!
Sake rice→100% Niigata rice
Rice polishing ratio→70
Alcohol content→17.5
I finally opened the sake that I had been displaying.
On the first day I opened it, I felt that the aroma and flavor were too strong, but on the second and third days, I was surprised to find that it got better and I was surprised to find that it got better and better.
I finally opened the bottle of Issen that I had been displaying.
On the first day I opened it I felt that the aroma and flavor were too strong, but on the second and third days, I was surprised to find that it got better and better.
The second bottle for the New Year's party was requested by my newlywed nephew. It is fresh, rich and perfect for New Year's dishes.
Kikusui Winter Limited Shiboritate Nama Nama Sake
Kikusui Shuzo (Shinbada City, Niigata Prefecture)
A classic Junmai. Very vibrant at the beginning before opening up to what seemed like stone fruit flavors in the middle. Very light alcohol finish. A great sake to finish the year. Happy New Year everyone!
The taste of fresh rice and sweetness was beyond my expectation.
The aroma was slightly apple juice-like.
It has a high class taste with little brewer's alcohol as if it were pure rice.
However, since it is 19%, it has a strong alcohol taste through the throat.
