A refreshing cup of sake with a fresh mountain design 😚🍶💕.
It was supposed to be served on the rocks or chilled, so I had it chilled.
A slightly cloudy liquid appeared with a light clinking sound.
The aroma is light and refreshing, and I have a feeling it will be delicious.
The taste is refreshing, and the deliciousness is gradually coming to you from the tip of your tongue.
It was delicious!
I bought it at a discount price at a nearby drugstore.
I had high expectations for this sake because it was from Niigata, my favorite sake region, but I was a little disappointed with its mild taste.
It has a strong bitter taste and not much umami. The aroma was not very good either.
However, when I heated it up, the crisp, dry taste was enhanced and it tasted great.
If it was not good cold, try heating it up!

It is a shame that people who have been drinking sake for a long time do not know about this easy-to-drink sake. I don't know why they can sell the sake at room temperature, but that's okay. Let's go. I smelled a sticky sweet smell. After the soft brewing water, which is rare for Niigata, the spiciness and richness of the sake is very strong. This is pleasant in its own way. The sharpness is also very strong and effective. The alcohol content is high, which explains why it is recommended to be served on the rocks. It was delicious. Thank you again for this evening!
This sake was given to me by a relative in Nagaoka, and is a little bit strong at 19 degrees Celsius, so it tastes a little tangy in the mouth at first, but it has more than enough flavor and acidity to keep you drinking it. The sake is made from 100% Niigata sake, but that is to be expected from a Niigata sake brewery.
We went to a sushi restaurant in Kisogawa, Aichi that has been in business for about 45 years and is a local favorite😍.
While we were eating sushi, I asked if they had any sake and they offered me Kikusui!
It felt soft on the palate but spicy when swallowed! It's great to drink from noon ♡♡♡!

I received a set of seven one-bottle bottles, so I drank them.
Here is the fourth bottle.
It is served cold.
The color is clear and almost colorless.
The initial aroma is mainly alkaloa, but it has an unusual perfume-like aroma. (I don't have the vocabulary to describe it...)
The mouthfeel is mild and smooth.
It has a well-defined taste, but it is also very umami, with a sweet taste and a strong umami flavor.
After swallowing, the aroma in the nose is nutty, and while the umami spreads, it is also slightly spicy and crisp.
It doesn't have the gusto of a Funakuchi, but it is just right, and even when served with alcohol, it is delicious enough.
I had it after a bottle of Ebisu Beer with an illustration of a beautiful woman by Hirohiko Araki 🤩.
Ingredients:Rice, rice malt, brewing alcohol
Ingredients: 100% Niigata rice
Alcohol content: 15%.
Cold: Rich sweetness and umami, but easy to drink.
As expected of Kikusui!
Easy to drink.
Although the aluminum can protects the taste from ultraviolet rays, it was not a good idea to keep the new sake until this time of the year.
