I thought I might like this at a tasting and happened to see it at a local supermarket and bought it.
I think it has a strong sake taste on the first shot on an empty stomach...it's good when you want to relax after the original sake type of drink.
Purchased at Yamaya. It's highly rated on Amazon. I avoided it because I can buy it anytime I want. I don't need to say anything,
Surprisingly fruity, dark, but with a bitter and acidic taste!
It is a new product from Kikusui.
It is made with high malic acid-producing yeast, has a low alcohol content (14 degrees), and a sweet taste, but the aroma is not too forward, and it is a light, refreshing sake that is perfect for summer. It has a strong acidity, so it would go well with light summer Japanese food.
I liked that it was not too apple-like.
I would like to have someone who drinks sake for the first time drink it and ask them what they think.
Unlike Shiboritate Nama-no-Hara Sake, the taste is quite subdued. The rice flavor can be felt, and it has a dry, crisp finish. The can also states that it is recommended by the brewer. Delicious, recommended for everyday drinking.
I was on a business trip today and had a cup of sake at the hotel. I took the plunge and tried this one, which is often reviewed on Sake no Wa 😁 It is indeed as good as it is reputed to be ☺️ The sweet and tasty taste will moisten your body. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to get rid of it 😅.
Good evening, studying 😃.
We happened to be in similar circumstances today 😁.
I've been curious about Funaguchi because Pon-chan drinks it and stuff, but I haven't had it yet so I want to drink it next time 🍶.
It's a lot and strong and also intoxicating😄.
Aladdin, thank you for your comment from your business trip😊Funaguchi, it was sweeter and deeper than I expected. Thanks to that, I was able to get drunk enough. If you drink it with reference to Pon-chan's review, it is indeed very flavorful.
Hi, studying 🐦.
Thanks for your business trip😊I'm glad you made it to Funaguchi! I'm sure it's pretty good 😆 I was drunk at the end of the trip after comparing 3 bottles 🙏.
Please try the fresh green one during the new sake season: ❣️
Thank you, Pon 😊 I was once again amazed at the comparison of these 3 types of drinks 😅 it was that rich 😁 I will definitely try it if I come across 🟢 😁.
Clear and colorless, with aromas of pear, yogurt, cooked rice, and lime. The attack is rather strong, with a refreshing acidity, moderate sweetness, and a rather short finish.
Cold Sake
Aroma: sweet aroma of rice, slight alcohol smell
Taste: sweetness of rice, slight acidity, and finally alcohol
Overall, the sweetness is noticeable.
As expected at 19%, you can feel the alcohol taste.
However, it does not feel like it is in the throat, so it is quite easy to drink for its alcohol content.
I opened a bottle I had bought at the beginning of spring at a somewhat lower price than the standard Funaguchi.
It has a mild taste, sweet, bitter, acidic, and moderately umami, all in one. In addition, the alcohol content is 19%, which is a bit high. Although it does not have a characteristic overflowing, it seems to be a basic sake with a high enough level of alcohol content. It is not to be underestimated from the outside.
I like the sweet sake!
This one was also sweet and tasty, but isn't Kikusui more like a sake for old men? I'm not sure if that's true 🥹💦.
I guess it's the feeling of 19% alcohol content that lingers at the end of the drink?
Thanks for the food.
Please drink it as soon as possible because the expiration date is approaching. and I bought the remaining two bottles with a grin as they were on sale at half price 😬.
This is the first time I have ever seen Kikusui in this color cup can.
Junmai Ginjyo Genshu
Rice polishing ratio: 55
Alcohol content: 17.5
The aroma was not so much noticeable, but it was delicious with a rich mouthfeel and a pleasant dry aftertaste.
I felt like I got a great deal 😁.
Good morning, Lutertemi 😃.
I'm grinning for two bottles for one 😁Kikusui seems to like Nobby and drinks it when we have separate weekends 😋I've never seen this color but I think I'd like it 😚.
