A gift of Tokyo's local sake. The aroma is old-fashioned, with a hint of cemedine...the mouthfeel is full of the flavor of rice. As the label on the back of the bottle says, it is a new sake, so it is fresh, but it has a rough taste, maybe a little dry. I wonder if it is good as a mealtime sake... I'm sipping it with albacore tempura and fish yukke as a side dish.

I had a little bit of it at first, and then half of it hot 😀 The cold version was refreshing, but the hot version had a great aroma and was refreshing to drink. Maybe I heated it up too much and lost the alcohol😎.

Sawanoi's dry nigori sake. It is one of the pleasures of this season. First, just the supernatant. Strong fizziness! Dry and dry. Delicious - I'm so happy! Then, mix in some orikori. The flavor increases. A hint of sweetness...but dry is dry! Reasonable and tasty, this is the charm of local sake. I really enjoy sake from where I live.

Purchased at a product store attached to Ome station when visiting Ome on a short trip! The aroma and juiciness spread to the palate as if it were new sake, and the slightly high alcohol content of 17% soaks through!

Sawanoi's new sake, Honjozo Shiboritate. This is the new Honjozo sake that we had at the brewery opening the other day. It is almost odorless. There is a kind of alcohol tang, but after that, nothing. Is this a characteristic of Tokyo's new local sake? A sense of melon for a moment...I would say this one is in the middle of the mid-palate, with a very well-balanced taste. Is it really new sake?

Slightly rummy and rice aroma with a slight lactic acid drink aroma. When you put it in your mouth, there is no sizzling sensation. Fresh aroma and soft sweetness of rice make the mouth feel soft for a moment. Slightly rounded acidity with a sharp taste. No bitterness, but it disappears quickly and dryly in the mouth. It is very drinkable, but maybe a little too clean and not enough. The liquor store says that after a few days, the taste will become more to your liking, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it progresses. I had it with tuna sushi. The sake is light and doesn't get in the way, but the umami flavor is lacking.

This is Sawanoi's newest sake, Shiboritate Junmai Nama-nama-shu. I had this at the brewery's recent "kurabiraki" event, but I was too busy enjoying the festivities to get a good taste of it. Refreshing rice aroma. It is delicious! And the flavor develops quickly. That is typical of new sake. It has a modest fruity flavor with a splashy sweet and sour development. The sharpness is also good.

Fresh ginjo aroma. The first sip gives the impression of being light, but soon after, the calm acidity and umami of the sake's natural yeastiness gradually spread. The aftertaste is pleasantly fresh and grape-like.

10/25 at the Ozawa Sake Brewery's "Kurabiraki" event! For 1,000 yen, you get a tour of the brewery, a cup of sake, and 5 sake tastings. The tasting included two types of new sake and three types of expensive sake such as ginjo. I really enjoyed listening to both the president and the chairman talk about their standard "Dai-harakuchi" (very dry) sake and the label endorsement that the chairman came up with. I had to wake up early and go for a run, so I made the mistake of falling asleep on the way to the event. I should be in good condition to participate in such an event.

At the usual restaurant I started with Sawanoi, thinking it was no different from last week😊. This one had a slightly stronger flavor than last week's 😋. The side dish was confit sweetfish with baby ayu fish
