It is now the season for this sake. This is Hi Hiyhiboroshi from Sawanoi, my favorite sake brewery.
The Junmai sake has a good rice flavor to begin with, but over the summer it has gained depth. Is it good at a reasonable price?
On this day, I paired it with the annual leatherfish sashimi with liver.
The strong flavor of the fatty liver is well received and the sake spreads its deliciousness. Four cups of sake were deliciously consumed.
It was a good late autumn drink at home.

This time it is a heated sake from Sawanoi.
This past weekend I participated in a sake tasting competition in Tokyo.
The results were disappointing, but it was a great experience for me to be able to interact with people from all walks of life in a friendly atmosphere, and to have such a high level of friendly competition, despite my frustration.
And then, the disappointment party 🎉 that I had requested from the members of SAKEWA in Tokyo.
Sorry 🙏I don't remember much except that we drank a lot and had a lot of fun 😅I had fun, that much is for sure💕.

And the next morning after the intense first day,
Two hours one way from Tokyo station!
We went to Ozawa Sake Brewery in Okutama.
The Seiryu Garden on the Sawanoi Garden grounds is where you can buy sake and snacks at the store and enjoy them in the garden.
The autumn leaves along the Tama River were at their best, so much so that I was wowed the moment I arrived,

After Okutama, we continued our deep Tokyo sake tour and headed home.
It was too rich weekend to feel the beauty of the sake connection 😊.

A special delight among Ozawa Shuzo's new sake offerings, this junmai nama sake is brewed in wooden vats and has a fresh, forest-like aroma.
The aroma is fresh and forest-like. Ahhhh, it's bitter-umami. Refreshing - refreshing to the end. And the gentle woody aroma is pleasant. It was the right choice to have a bottle without hesitation. This is one of my favorite Sawanoi bottles.

This is a comment from an amateur sake lover. I drank a rare kind of Sawanoi. It is a dry sake that goes well with fish and has a familiar taste. Although it is a draft sake, the aging process has rounded the corners and made the weight of the draft sake a little lighter and deeper, making it a very tasty sake. I am grateful to the store owner who recommended it to me. I am thankful that I can drink delicious sake in good health today!

Sawanoi's dry nigori sake. It is one of the pleasures of this season. First, just the supernatant. Strong fizziness! Dry and dry. Delicious - I'm so happy! Then, mix in some orikori. The flavor increases. A hint of sweetness...but dry is dry! Reasonable and tasty, this is the charm of local sake. I really enjoy sake from where I live.
