Toast Festa 🥂⑥ with Tochigi's Local Sake
The 8th (and last) drink is
Yes, it's Wakakoma! Wakakoma ✨🥂✨!
This time I definitely had Wakakoma poured 😆.
Fruity aroma
When you put it in your mouth
The sweet and sour taste is gorgeous....
Yes~! Delicious 😋👍
I wanted to drink a little more, but
I wanted to drink a little more, but thinking about the 🚃 return.
I decided to make this my last one 😊.
Kotori who had joined the day before.
I had to drive 🚙 that day.
She couldn't drink but she showed up 😆🙌
It was great to see you ♡.
I hope we can have a drink again 😘.
I wish I could have met Ars 🤗.
I couldn't come last year.
I was very happy to be able to attend this year 😊.
Higu and Nanoha!
It was a lot of fun 😆.
Higu is a funny guy, he's the best 👍👍.
Jay and Nobby
Thank you for seeing us off on the way home 🚃🙏.
It was very encouraging 🤗
Let's drink again 😄👋
So much fun Tochigi love 🥰!
Hey Tsubu, hi 😃.
I really didn't think I'd be here for 6 hours 😅I really miss all of you 🥹.
Even the last time I had to find the bathroom 😆 That was fun!
Thanks Jay & Nobby 😄!
You were there for 6 hours 😄♪ I respect Higu & Nanoha for drinking from noon 🤣.
I'm looking forward to another prefect meeting 😊.
Oh yes the restroom! Lots of walking at the end 🤣.
Sake made from 100% Gohyakumangoku rice produced in Yoshikawa, Saitama! A gift from a friend in Saitama.
Light yellowish color. It had a strong rice flavor. I drank it cold but thought it would go well with warmed sake.
Store drinking.
This is "Shimadaya Sake Shop Miyamirai".
While waiting for the Shinkansen, we had a quick drink to compare three kinds of Tochigi sake.
On the right.
The horse is wearing sunglasses 😎.
Tochigi's sake has a very aggressive label 🤩.
Sake rice is 100% Asahi no Yume
The color is clear, and the aroma is slight.
On the palate, there is a heavy bitterness and light umami from the rice.
The aftertaste has a slight crispness to it.
The end of the taste is like a wisp of smoke.
It is an exhilarating sake that makes you feel as if you are riding a horse through a meadow.
Good evening, Hiro 😃.
We moved from Festa to Shimadaya and while waiting for the bullet train, we are enjoying Tochigi sake drinking ‼️ Utsunomiya to the fullest 🤗Great👍!
Hi Hiro😄
Amazing! Even after the fiesta, we still have a Tochigi sake drinking contest 😆👏 👏 I'm a wonderful handsome Tochigi lover 🥰.
Let's join us next time you come 😉.
Good morning, Hiro-san 🐥.
I like the fact that you can have a kakuchi here, and that there is a good selection of local sake from all over the country for a place of this size 😉 I wonder if you bought any souvenirs 🤭.
Hi Kotori, ☀️
The selection was amazing, I counted the sake I wanted to try and it was more than I could drink 😄.
If there was one in my neighborhood, I would go there 😆.
I made sure to buy some Nanamizu, which I couldn't buy at the brewery, as a souvenir👍.
First purchase at Melkido, a liquor store and corner store in Kokura Station, Kitakyushu, that sells rare sake.
There is an event on the 22nd and 23rd of this month and I attended only on the 22nd.
Participating sake breweries included Librom, roroom, Taxi Driver, Junsei, Nokomi, Kaygetsu, Sentoku, Yamazaru, KURAMOTO, Machida Sake Brewery, etc.
I bought only two bottles of brands I did not see.
First, Wakakoma
Cold sake
Citrusy aroma
Lively freshness of nama sake with a wide aftertaste and a tartness that makes you squeal when you swallow.
The acidity is similar to that of other Wakanami from Tochigi and Fukuoka...
The aftertaste is normal.
Yum!
I think I like it a lot.
It's more refreshing than I thought it would be.
The label says yellow peach,
I think it has a banana taste.
Not too sweet, but just right.
