On a trip to Yamagata Prefecture, we were given a tour of the Rokkasen brewery and purchased this sake there.
Although it is sweet, it has a clean aftertaste. While it is clean, it does not feel full and lacking in body. It has no peculiarities and is easy to drink.
The other Junmai Ginjo I bought from this brewery, called MUGEN, is very fruity, so it tastes a bit limp compared to that. Both are delicious!
The 8th Japanese Sake Festival @ Osaka Bay Tower (・ω・`)
It was quite clear and easy to drink at first like water.
When I was about to drink it, a Japanese drum, Tsugaru shamisen, and shinobue flute performance started, so I watched and drank it slowly.
Then, perhaps because the temperature was raised, the taste became clear, and the sweetness and umami from the rice became obvious!
You can enjoy the clarity of the sake when it is chilled, and you can also enjoy the flavor when it is warmed up.
