I usually only inhabit the South Osaka area, so the tour was a lot of fun and felt like a trip 🩷Thank you Rafa-san for a precious and wonderful time ❣️

I came here on a business trip to Hachinohe 💁 I unexpectedly found and ordered Asahi Taka instead of Mutsu Hachisen. It's been about 8 years?
It was sweet and rich, with a hint of bitterness at the end. It has been a long time since I have had a real brewed Asahitaka. The sweetness also makes me nostalgic 😄I paired it with sashimi, but it goes well with it. The button prawns are delicious 🦐.

This is "Asahitaka", a limited edition Yamagata sake from Takagi Shuzo, well known for its "Jyushiyo" brand.
It is almost impossible to buy Jyushiyo, but if you are lucky, you can buy Asahitaka at a supermarket in Yamagata.
My parents bought this for me at a supermarket in Yamagata.
I can't compare the taste with Jyushiyo because I have never had it before, but it is delicious.
It is a brewed sake, but the sweetness and umami are exquisite.
It is hard to believe that this sake is priced in the 2,000 yen range.

The mild sweetness is followed by an elegant acidity. The umami comes from there. The aroma that comes through the nose is a little tropical. I want to keep drinking it for a long time.
