I drank it at a barbecue restaurant in Yamagata!
It was 550 yen for 120 ml. It was my first time drinking it and it was delicious, but I guess I don't desperately need to find a retailer.

This locally distributed sake is brewed by the Takagi Shuzo brewery in Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture, which is known for its "Jyushiyo" brand. Like "Jyushidai," which has become synonymous with hard-to-find sake, it is almost exclusively available only in the brewery's home region. Founded in 1615 in the early Edo period (1603-1868), Takagi Sake Brewery is a long-established brewery that has been in business for over 400 years. The current head of the brewery is the 15th generation, Akitsuna Takagi, who returned to his hometown at his father's request in 1993 to take over the business. He eventually introduced the "14th generation" to the world, which is said to have been named in honor of his father. Asahitaka" has a slightly sweet aroma and a smooth taste, and some say it reminds them of "Jyushidai." It is a special honjozo made with natural spring water from 25 meters underground, and is highly valued for its soft taste with a ginjo aroma, fresh texture, and high cost performance.
Yamagata Purchased at supermarket
Purchased when I went to Yamagata to buy some sake 💰.
It's been a long time since I've had a bottle of Asahitaka🦅I have an image that it's harder to find these days than ever before🤔!
The price is 2600 yen more expensive than before, but it's still the same cosy 🍶.
I opened the bottle right away 🍶This is delicious 😋.
Not the same sweet-umami...... as usual! It has a freshness to it, or in a good way, it has a lighter, less honjozo-like feel to it 🤔.
I wonder what changed? Chilled tomato tongue? The production has changed? Is it because I opened it right after I bought it? Because it was made in December?
I looked at the check-in history and the last time I drank it was on 2023.3 🍶 and at that time it tasted the same as usual! So is it recent?
I also have a bottle of Asahi Hawk manufactured in October 2023, so let's compare them next time 😌.
The taste has a fresh melon like atmosphere and a clean aftertaste😊 still really tasty 😋 and really surprising😳.
Thanks for the treat 😌!
Hi, chilled tomato 😃.
I almost went to Yamagata the other day and changed my plans 🥲I have a growing desire to go to Yamagata 🤗I would also like to drink Asahitaka🦅, which is said to have become lighter and more refreshing 😚 in my hometown.
Good evening Jay & Nobby 🌇.
Yamagata is also a great place to drink and buy sake, and we think it's possible to go there every month😊.
Asahitaka🦅 is one of them that you can't miss! Please drink it when you go there ☺️
Comparison of Asahitaka
This one seems to be darker than the previous one!
Asahitaka is the best 😃.

I'm going to try something that you can only drink here at Yamagata Shoei.
Let's compare Asahitaka's draft sake and fresh stored sake 🍶🍶🍶.
Nama sake is an additional 200 yen to the all-you-can-drink price!
A cup of sake from a four-pack
Half and half with the master
Reminiscent of Jyushiyo, delicious and my favorite 😋!
Grilled fish also made an appearance!
We were a little late eating because of all the chatting 🤏!
Most of the customers around us had already left!

Takagi Shuzo of Jyushiyo
Gorgeous muscat-like aroma.
Honjozo sake. Sweet and full-bodied. It has such sweetness, but the aftertaste is refreshing.
Soba-no-kai, the last one and the main dish of soba. Asahitaka was given to us by an acquaintance when he went to Yamagata this year. It is easy to drink and delicious.

Takagi Shuzo (Murayama City, Yamagata Prefecture)
In some circles, the search for this sake is called "hawk hunting," but today I went to a certain place with no intention of hunting, but rather with a casual feeling, and I unexpectedly came across this sake.
It has a more gorgeous banana aroma than standard sake, a light sweetness, and a refreshing acidity at the back of the mouth.
Hi, screaming butterfly 😃.
Falconry sounds like a lot of work 😅I would love to make friends with a falconer and have him give it to me 😋.
Abnegation falconry! That sounds good 😋I'd love to taste it😙.
Jay & Nobby Good evening! If I were a resident of Tochigi, I would have brought 🦅 to the meeting... And Takasago too 😂Gachi-hawking is a fun game of information warfare, endurance, and local comic relief 😆.
I could drink Jyushidai and even Asahitaka!
This fruity flavor is a honjozo!
Amazing taste!
The temperature was not so low, so I could feel the sweetness and deliciousness!
