One of the single bottles I bought at the local supermarket.
Super refreshing, dry and not deep. Not much aroma, a little bit of rice flavor.
It is easy to drink because it has few peculiarities.
I paired it with simmered yellowtail and tuna.
This is a good match. It plays a supporting role to the strong flavor.
Very soft on the front of the palate at first open. Some nice acidity throughout. I get cacao, celery, and a bit of anise with a rich mouthfeel. Quite nice.
8/10
Sake with a sense of alcohol.
It is not fruity, but sweet at the entrance and leaves a pungent, bitter taste in the aftertaste.
It has a refreshing finish and is best enjoyed with cheese.
Alcoholic aroma.
In the mouth, sweetness, bitterness, richness, and umami come in a gulp, and the "super dry" taste flows away like melting ice. The aftertaste is watery and bitter, like mineral water.
It is delicious both as it is and with a meal. When paired with broiled eel, the ultra-harsh sake was a perfect partner for the fat of the eel!
My wife bought this series💕
I heard it's 📌720ml ¥ secret!
I'll get back to you as soon as I can 🍶.
Not much aroma but mild 💕
The color is beautiful💕
The mouthfeel is light and refreshing💕
It goes down smoothly💕
It has a nice sharpness to it💕The spiciness comes a little later but not unpleasant 👍
I think it's a food wine.
Today's pairing is pork with ginger 👍
It goes well with it💕and doesn't interfere with it💕.
Delicious ✌️!
The alcohol content is 15-16 degrees, but it seems to be higher 😓It goes around 🥵.
Thanks to my wife again today💕
Thank you ✌️thank you👍
A gift. Sake that I would not often buy myself. With supper. I don't have the concept of "dry" to begin with.
Almost no aroma. When you put it in your mouth, it is dry with little sweetness. After that, there is a sharp alcohol stimulation in the mouth, followed by a bitter taste. The rice flavor can be felt as it warms up, and there is little sweetness.
Is this a sake like water?
When served with pork belly and daikon radish, the sake absorbs the umami and sweetness and becomes a perfect supporting player. The sake plays a supporting role without getting in the way. I was impressed by the sake's ability to absorb the flavor and sweetness of the pork belly and daikon.
After all, it's no good not to drink.
Postscript
As I often drink sweet sake, I found that it refreshes my palate if I drink it in between other sake drinks.
Addendum again
Today, I drank it with negitoro (green onion) and found it to be a delicious sake with a surprisingly sweet taste. This is a sake that should be drunk with a meal.
I bought this sake as a souvenir from Niigata.
I wasn't expecting much, since I picked something that wasn't that expensive, but it was so good!
The first taste was of sake, and the aftertaste was a little lingering but refreshing.
