For the second bottle, I chose "Kurehaaru!
The price is much less than 3,000 yen. Quite reasonable.
We split it between two and a half four-pack bottles. I think it can be served at room temperature, but I will have it cold.
It has a full-bodied feeling. It has a sweetness, but it is refreshing. I will drink it in small doses.
Kurehaaru only has one bottle of sake. And they don't have Junmai sake either.
It was introduced as Tanizaki Junichiro's favorite sake.
Almost colorless and transparent. The aroma reminds of cereal grains and custard cream. The intensity of the aroma is medium. The nose has subtle hints of watermelon and lychee. It has a medium lingering finish. A mellow sake.
