I picked up Planet 9 🪐 at a liquor store because of the label.
It's a CWS sake from Kororo in Kumamoto Prefecture ☺️
As I'm into Kyushu recently, I wanted to try it, so I bought it: ✌️
It seems that TYPE-A was released first, but I bought TYPE-B, so it won't be a review to compare the drinks, but I'll just review B this time 😉.
I'll take it right away 🥂.
First of all, the aroma
I guess it's slightly fruity.
I wondered if the sweetness would spread in the mouth, but it didn't. The sweetness was moderate.
The acidity seems to spread from the latter half of the bottle, but it does not.
Toward the end of the bottle, I thought I could feel the gasiness, but it faded away.
Hmm...🤔.
In a word, everything is understated.
To put it harshly, I think everything is half-hearted 😥.
There's no spiciness, no bitterness, no astringency, no cloying taste, but the sweetness is super understated and the acidity seems to be there but thin. The gasiness is only vaguely perceptible and uncharacteristic 💦.
It's easy to drink because it's low-alcohol and sloshes in, and the lack of impact doesn't interfere with food at all, so it might be a versatile food sake: ☝️
