For my second cup at the Fukushima Sake Specialty Shop, I chose a refreshing umaguchi. This masculine sake has a subtle aroma of rice, a hint of sourness and alcohol, and a robust umami that takes care of everything. It was like a man in a field of wheat that looks good with a jinbei after a summer fireworks display. If I say why I'm bound by the fireworks display analogy today, it's just because that's the mood I'm in. It's because of the demons of summer.
First visit to Nagi, where all the sake is from Fukushima. The first sweet sake was a summer sake from Toyokuni. It is a light cloudy sake with a stylish starry sky visible on the label when the sake runs out. It starts with a grapefruit aroma, slightly sour, and settles into a mild sweetness. It has a light flavor, like sparklers on the beach during the latter half of a summer vacation.
It is very fine and soft. It was also perfect for a hot day, and when I looked at the label on the back, it said 13 degrees. It's safe to say it's low al.
Original for a gardener. It's a little different from the usual label, but the part that I don't know what it is is typical of Yamanoi.
The taste is as expected. It's smooth and easy to drink. Yamanoi is so good!
