Tempura Sato is our regular place.
Again, the owner had prepared No.6 for us.
The x-type is too sweet for me, but it goes well with tempura.

Today I had a casual drink at a local restaurant, Tempura Sato, with a colleague from work.
After a certain amount of drinking, we asked for a premium sake, which turned out to be Jyushidai.
The owner told us that it was a very rare sake.
It is not too sweet for a Jyushiyo.
It has a refined aroma of rice and a rich flavor. It is a well-balanced sake with a modest assertiveness.
1.500 yen/120cc seems to be cheap 😁.

The owner prepared two kinds of NO.6.
I thought "X is sweet," but this one has a strong sourness and goes well with tempura. Therefore, S goes even better with tempura.
It was delicious again today.
(This is the second time this week I've had tempura...)

Tempura is reasonable but the cost of sake is high 😢Once in a while, so it's OK.

It was a local drink with my high school classmates who had temporarily returned from Vietnam.
We had a reservation for lunch at "Tempura Sato" which we always go to.
We started the meeting with beer and tempura, but about 30 minutes later, the owner served us No. 6.
It seems that he went out of his way to reserve it for us.

The aroma is standard fruity. The aroma is standard fruity, and the gasiness is low, as is typical of Niimasa.
The first sip has a pronounced acidity, followed by the spread of ginjo aroma, sweetness, and umami.

My classmate came back from Hanoi for Chinese New Year, so the three of us dads had tempura from noon.
Tobiroki Junmai Daiginjo.
I asked the owner to reserve a bottle for today.
It's been a long time since I've tasted Tobiroki, but this was a very elegant sake.
It has a good balance of sweetness, umami, and richness without any cloying taste.
What a waste!
It goes well with tempura.

Total cold chrysanthemum, Denshikiku.
The second cup at Tempura Sato. In case you are wondering, the third cup was at Kuheiji, and the fourth cup was back at Tsuneyama.
It had a pineapple type aroma and was as sweet and tasty as one would expect.
And a slight sourness in the sweetness that stands out.
It does not seem to go well with sushi, but it is just right for tempura.
Delicious.
I would like to drink this sake again.
For some reason, I had a bowl of zuke-don to finish it off.

This is the first time I had it.
Tsuneyama Junmai Ginjo.
Fresh + fruity at first sip.
Then acidity and sweetness.
Just a hint of gas.
It tastes a little like a classic Koei Kiku.

Yamagata Masamune 1898 was the next wine after Kuheiji, Tobiroki, and Hakurakusei.
This is the first Yamagata Masamune.
I don't remember the taste 🙇♂️.
