I've been hard at work since the beginning of the year, and although I've been drinking sake, I haven't been able to post anything, so I'm posting this all together. The fourth bottle is Yamamoto No. 6 Yeast This is another annual bottle! Yamamoto Shuzo brewed this one using yeast No. 6, and it was pleasant to drink with a clear and transparent flavor and acidity!

I've been hard at work since the beginning of the year, and although I've been drinking sake, I haven't been able to post anything, so I'm posting this all together. The third bottle is SNOW EXTRA from Akabu. I was able to drink SNOW at Xmas, but I also came across a cloudy EXTRA! I love Akabu's sake, and it tastes great without mixing in the ori, but when you mix it in, the sweetness and flavor of the rice is enhanced, making it twice as delicious in one bottle!

The second bottle is Kuroryu Doroguchi. This one is a must have every year! I love the taste of Kuroryu, which has a deliciously clean taste, but it also tastes as if it has a tender, sweet flavor. I heard a rumor that it was sold out, but when I found it, it was a must-buy!

The first one is Sogapère Ephis Numérosis. I look forward to this one every year, but the timing of purchase at my favorite liquor store is critical! This year I was able to buy a magnum bottle from the first shot! Its taste was fruity but with a sharpness and acidity that I enjoyed!

This is a low-alcohol, gentle tasting bottle for a tiring weekend. Shin Takachiyo [Hajime] ETYPE It is 12% alcohol by volume and has a gentle sweetness like Calpis for adults. It was delicious with a gentle sweetness like Calpis and a refreshing lactic acidity!

We received the long-awaited new sake & nigori sake from Machida Sake Brewery! Last year, during the off-season, I had a sudden craving for Machida Sake, but when I asked the waitress, she told me that Machida Sake Brewery is closed until the new sake is ready! I didn't know that, so I waited with bated breath! The nigori sake from Gohyakumangoku was a bottle of sake that was well worth drinking to slowly enjoy the flavor of the rice!

Kangiku's Hashu Honor, which is released at the end of each year, was available again this year! I mean, since it is released consecutively from Hakuginkai to Ginkai to Aizan to 39, there were still some left at some stores even at the beginning of the year, as if they had not run out of sales wholesale! Hashu Honor is one of my five favorite Kangiku bottles, so it's nice to be able to buy it without worry! It was very fruity and exquisite!

I had given up on a bottle of Tazake this year, but my favorite liquor store had some left, and I was able to buy it at the beginning of the year! The Junmai Ginjyo (Junmai Ginjo) brewed with Hana Mochi is a pure sake spec that you can't go wrong with! Casually looking forward to the zodiac pun (on the back), as is customary with zodiac bottles! This year, "Delicious rice wine is heavyweight!" This year's bottle was a "delicious tazake is heavyweight!

I had a chance to try Tengu Mai, which I have been curious about for a long time, and it was my first time to try it! Tengumai Yamahai Junmai Sake It has a classic appearance, but the taste is a superb bottle with a good balance of sweetness, umami, acidity, and bitterness.

My favorite Viridian, which opened last week. It has a very delicate flavor, and the beautiful acidity soaked through the clean mouthfeel! There are rumors that Viridian, which uses Miso Nishiki, will soon be sold out, so we sipped it with gusto!

The last of the four Aizan bottles from the end of last year, Pray for2024 Aizan 40 by Kangiku Meikozo. The last one was the Kangiku 40, the last one was the Kuraku, the last one was the Kamonishiki, the last one was the Aizan 40, the last one was the Kangiku 40.... The sweetness and flavor of Kangiku's sake was combined with a pleasant acidity!

Finally, a comparison of Kangiku's Shiroginkai and Ginkai drinks. They had similar packaging, but the rice and specifications were different, so they tasted very similar and different! Shiroginkai was delicious with the freshness of new sake, but with the clean, sweet flavor of Gohyakumangoku!

Memorandum of notes since I didn't get a chance to review the 3rd-4th bottles I compared Aizan drinks during the New Year's holiday. For the third bottle, I opened an expensive bottle of Kamo Nishiki because it was New Year's Day! It is rare that I can buy a sake over 10,000 yen, but this bottle came in a goody bag! The taste was very elegant and beautiful, but since it was from Aizan, the sweetness and umami were well balanced, and I finished it in one gulp!

The last of the three snowman brothers is UA Snake! This is the zodiac sign bottle, also from the United Arrows collaboration Following the UA Rabbit -> UA Dragon, we were able to drink again this year! The UA series zodiac bottle has the best specs for me as a lover of sweet and tasty sake: Kijoshu✕Nigori Sake✕Yukidaruma (snowman)! The UA Snake was a great example of a more fizzy, but still sweet and tasty sake!

The 4th-6th sakes to be opened at the beginning of the year are a comparison of snowmen Compared to the refreshing Snowball, UA is a bottle where you can really taste the sweetness of the rice! It had a particularly strong "shwashu" sensation, and immediately after the bottle was opened and the oli was mixed in, it had a fizzy sensation that almost made us want to blow out the bottle! This was my very favorite flavor!

This is Echino Kanme, which was given to me by a relative. It was the first time for me to drink Gin-sen, but I was able to drink it easily because it has a smooth, mineral taste and goes down smoothly. It was a bottle that went well with New Year's dishes!
