I realized that it was already the end of July, and I had been away from sake completely due to a series of business trips 😅. The interface of Sake-no-wa has also changed. I bought this to support sake breweries in Ishikawa Prefecture. As a secret, I'm actually not very good at Kagatobi sake... 🤫. In a good way, it was a nice, light drink! I bought another bottle of Kaga sake, so I am looking forward to that one too!

I bought it to drink at a hotel in Nagano, but ended up getting drunk on other drinks, so I uncorked it at home🤣 Hence the small bottle! I had it with motsu nabe. It has a little bit of a sizzling taste, but it was super dry and didn't feel too much like wine!

Super dry with a tangy taste It tastes as good as the sweet sukiyaki made by my partner from Kumamoto. ☺️ It was difficult to open the bottle due to the slight carbonation! I'm going to support the local community by drinking Ishikawa's sake as much as I can!

Purchased at a sake brewery the day after the ban was lifted: ☺️ When I tasted it at the brewery, I thought it was too light 🤔, but when I actually drank it with snacks, it was just right. I heard that they changed the rice used for sake, but it was a typical Ito sake. I think it is really luxurious to be able to drink seasonal sake💕.

It was more schwishy than I expected and spilled out after I uncorked it (what a waste 😆 ). It has a robust taste ➕ and is carbonated, so the mouthfeel is surprisingly heavy. It went well with stewed pork, but I thought it was a little too strong for sashimi. I prefer to drink Suwa Gozo, but it has variety and is really interesting. ☺️

First time back home in 3 months, first time in a long time. I really thought that I prefer a refreshing junmai sake to the delicious junmai daiginjo that was served on the plane. I had it with oden, and I drank up the four-pack in seconds. ☺️ It is a well-chilled Hanakairo, with a refreshing aftertaste. The label is very handsome and Showa-esque.

Purchased from a sake brewery when I was in Nagano last month. Glad to see that tasting has resumed at the brewery 😭. It has a summery, refreshing taste, but has a strong aftertaste. I first served it with a Satsuma faceted boar cup I bought in Kagoshima the other day. ☺️ However, it didn't go well with the Satsuma fries I also bought in Kagoshima. It might be a shochu liquor after all. Summer sake is good!

I bought it on a trip to Shinshu, which I visit once a year. It is a fruity, refreshing, clear sake with absolutely no cloying taste. You may drink it a bit like white wine. It went well with ahi jogos and basil salads. Azumino sake is a delicious water for drinkers🤭.

I returned home for the first time in two weeks. It was a stressful business trip, so I pulled out my favorite drink. In fact, it's been 13 years since I moved into my current house, and when I visited a liquor store in front of the station for the first time, I found that they were selling Tazake. What? Is it really that common? I don't even need to write a review of this famous sake. ☺️ I had it with amaebi (sweet shrimp). Shiawase✨

Like last time, I bought a sample at a roadside station I stopped by when I was in Kamaishi. It has a strong flavor and went well with snacks (bonito and salmon sashimi). I think I prefer a lighter aftertaste, but I don't know exactly where I draw the line. Sorry I can't be of more help 🙏.

I bought this sake at a roadside station when I went to Kamaishi to watch rugby. I am not familiar with Miyagi sake at all, so I bought this small bottle to try it out. The first sip was "water! 😳" It was so refreshing to drink, but gradually became more and more robust. Still, it is quite light and pleasant to drink. It was just right for tuna sashimi: ☺️ I would buy it again if I had the chance!

Next day we leave early in the morning, so a cup of sake not to drink too much. Nigori sake will be downed well. The sake was sweet and chunky. Seishu, on the contrary, is surprisingly refreshing and easy to drink. I purchased this sake on a trip to Hiroshima and enjoyed the resulting good combination. ☺️

A bottle I ordered on my first trip home in 3 months. It's a drink that mellows out after about 5 minutes out of the fridge, so the drinking acceleration after that is exhilarating 😅. It's perfect for sashimi and soaked eggplant! Yokobue sake soaks into my flesh and blood: ☺️

A bottle purchased at a sake brewery on a trip to Ishikawa It was easy to drink cold, but I preferred it lukewarm. It was perfect with Japanese dishes such as simmered baby flounder and boiled rape blossoms. Tedorigawa never disappoints☺️.

I bought a bottle when I traveled to Yokkaichi. I drank a few different kinds at a small restaurant, but my memory is ......😙~♪ It is super dry compared to the Shinshu sake I am used to drinking. It was perfect for fatty yellowtail sashimi and smoked duck☺️. The last drink of the year. I hope I will be able to find delicious sake again next year.

I returned to Japan for the first time in three weeks. I hurriedly uncorked this year's Hiyayogoshi, which had been completely stashed away in the back of the cabinet. It was recommended by a chef I met when I traveled to Ishikawa. It was fruity with a good balance of sweetness and acidity☺️. It was a perfect match with light Mizutaki. But it's umami, so it might not go well with strong snacks.

Purchased at a liquor store in Tochigi. The first sip had a "Hmm? but the aftertaste is nice and clean with no aftertaste. I have the impression that it is easier to drink at room temperature (hiya). I drank it with ponzu (ponzu flavored white cod roe) and bonito sashimi, and I liked the aftertaste ☺️. Next time I will try heating it up.

I bought it at a sake brewery in Tedorigawa when I traveled to Ishikawa Prefecture. It is a cloudy sake that fizzes, but it is not too sweet, crisp, and easy to drink. It is easy to drink, not too sweet and refreshing. I heard that it is sold only within the prefecture, but I hope it will be available in Tokyo as well.

I had it with conger eel rice when I traveled to Miyajima. It is a refreshing drink that does not fight with the sweet sauce of the conger eel. The bottle is nice and has gold cherry blossoms on it, which makes it very special. It is a special sake to drink on a trip and makes me feel good☺️.
