Hodogashira Junmai Sake
I was surprised to find the aroma very sour. I could almost taste the acidity, almost like vinegar. When I drank it with some caution, I was even more surprised to find a fruity and sweet taste with some sourness. It was really strange.
The low alcohol content makes it easy to drink. The more surprised I am by the aroma, the lighter it feels in the mouth, making it easy to drink.
It would go well with appetizers, or you could drink it to refresh your palate after a heavy meal such as meat dishes.
I chose this sake because I wanted to try something with a strong acidity 🔰🎶, but I was surprised by the acidity that exceeded my expectations💦.
I am confident that even if someone said it was a white wine, I wouldn't be able to tell.
Interesting 😊🍶.
I had it as an aperitif 🥂.
It was low in alcohol content, so it was gentle and just right even on an empty stomach.
It was a great way to connect to the drinks and food later on ✌️.
The mouthfeel is white wine type. The sweetness comes from the sourness, with a little bitterness on the other side.
At the end of the taste, the aroma of sake passed through my nose.
Is this the first step to get people who are not used to drinking sake to get hooked on it?
This one is so easy to drink, I keep coming back to it! Sweet and delicious. The alcohol content is also low. Even my friend who doesn't like alcohol drank it as delicious.
Refreshing muscat scent. It is sweet and light, but not overpowering. It has no alcoholic taste and can be drunk easily.
A friend who lives in Fushimi gave it to me as a souvenir.
Sour smell when you open it.
It smells like vinegar.
And when I put it in my mouth, somehow it feels smoky.
I wonder if it's my imagination.
It wasn't really my favorite...
