We are now in the rainy season, and this year's rainy season is quite extreme: when it rains, it pours, and when it's sunny, it's extremely hot, almost 30 degrees Celsius 😅.
I've been doing some light walking to acclimatize to the heat, and I'm getting used to it, but my face is getting really burnt 🌅.
Now that I've worked up a good sweat, let's have a drink tonight 🍶.

Aroma of mellow rice that reminds me of apples, a really faint feeling of gas on the palate, a light sweetness and umami, and a lingering aftertaste that is calm and crisp.

The other day I saw Ao-chan eating a "Yokowa" and it looked so delicious that I decided to have it with some "bigeye tuna sashimi" and "horse mackerel tataki" that I had just found, and some "comte cheese" that I bought at a cheese specialty store in Fukui called "Happy Cheese" (🧀).
I don't have to tell you that the fish went well with the rich, slightly stinky taste of the comte cheese, and it was a marriage that seemed to melt in your mouth.
