100% Kami no Ho from Mie Prefecture
Owner recommended sake.
It was all-you-can-drink, but we were allowed to drink a variety off the menu.
Juicy, light and modern fresh. The food was absurdly delicious. The dashi broth is the pride of the restaurant. They say it is non-fattening.
It's banana-y and fruity, but tingling.
When I drink it, I get a "ka! when you drink it.
It's a little different from the impression on the label and the description, but it's delicious!
There are only two sake rice study groups left. I've been posting them chippy-chippy, so my notes and my memory are no longer connected. But there is no doubt that they were delicious.
The ninth bottle was Kami no Ho from Mie Prefecture. The first bottle was a Saku no Kami no Hoho, which got me hooked on sake rice, but it tasted completely different.
The aroma is banana, I guess.
It has a slightly sweet taste with a refreshing dryness from the microbubbles. It goes on and on... a never-ending type of sake.
The next post should be the last in this study of sake rice.
First time for Kagami!
I've been kicking jackets for a while now... this one must be good.
The aroma has a hint of alu, but the taste...?
Oh...it's so round and round (I can't tell)!
The slight sweetness comes and goes quickly.
As the label says, it has a banana taste.
The acidity is not that strong.
It's a very light and gentle sake...yes, it's good too!
