Sandesi🍶
I'm not really impressed with the size of this one.
And the label says "handmade"...
I feel like they are very particular about it 😝.
It's a very tangy, crispy, and hardcore taste.
I decided to go for the Sandesi after taking various things into consideration,
I regret that I should have bought a four-pack bottle.
My child said, "That's unusual! The bottle is so small! 🤣.
The third picture is Kumamoto Castle which was damaged in the Kumamoto earthquake.
Still under restoration. This is the first time I've seen the inside of a stone wall 👀.
The fourth picture is on the way to Mt.
I couldn't see anything because of the thick fog or clouds 🤣.
Japanese Sake Fest Osaka Spring 4️⃣
This is another sake that we brought back from Taido, the brewery we helped at the Japanese Sake Festival😇.
This limited edition sake was empty with 10 minutes left until the last minute 😅.
When I asked the brewer what to do, he said to open the bottle because some customers still wanted to drink it, so I did.
The moment I put it in my mouth, I felt it was very sweet and fruity, but at the end, a beautiful spiciness followed and it was a very easy-to-drink sake.
The sake from this brewery has a sake level of around 0, and I was a little worried about the sweetness when I was allowed to drink it on site, but I was told by the brewer that this was the dry type of sake, so I recommended it to customers who prefer dry sake when explaining the sake, and I felt I was right 😇.
Yasubeyesan☀️Good morning‼️ Kumamoto sake‼️Nice & thanks to the customer for rushing in❤️I see that even if the aroma and the beginning of the drink is sweet, if it ends up dry and sharp, it will certainly be a dry sake overall🧐It is a sake that will go well with food🥰.
Good evening, Pekho 😀
I think it's probably a little dry 😇.
My first impression is that it's umami-kuchi, but when the finish is dry and sharp, it feels like a dry type overall 🤣.
Japanese Sake Fest Osaka Spring 2️⃣
Spring Nigorinpic 60
Today, I spent all day at the Japanese Sake Festival venue, pouring sake for visitors at this brewery's booth 😀.
The brewery owner was a nice person and recommended that I drink the sake to make sure it tastes good because I'm sure the customers will ask a lot of questions 😇.
The sake from this brewery is almost exclusively distributed within the prefecture, so of course it was my first time drinking it, but it was really delicious 😇.
The sake I liked the most was the Arabashiri light nigori that I had yesterday, but my second favorite was this Pink Taido 😀 Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to try the light nigori or the pink Taido, so I had to wait until the next day to try them.
Unfortunately, all of the light nigori was gone after the tasting and sales, but the sake I liked next was left, so I was able to have it as a thank you for today's visit😇.
It was the first time for me to see the customers from the staff's side, and I was happy to see them smile when they drank it and said it was delicious😇.
Good evening, Yasube!
It's awesome that you're really active in the sake life, handling customers at the Japanese Sake Festival ✨.
I feel like the staff's point of view is a valuable experience🍀.
Good evening Yasube, good evening 🌛You were well staffed ✨️ this was a valuable experience ☺️ I would have gone if I didn't have plans but alas 😔I've never seen Taido but it's nice to drink sake that makes everyone smile 🤤.
Good evening, Yasbay 😃.
I attended the sake festival standing on the staff side! Good job 😌I wish I could have participated on the side that makes you smile 😁.
Taido is a local sake, but I'd like to try it 😋.
Good evening, ma~ki- 😀
It was such a precious experience for me, so I was very happy and had a good time 😀.
I need to study more and more about sake so that I can answer more properly 🤣.
Good evening, Nao888 😀
We would have loved for you to come, but we're sorry to hear that 😅.
Next time we will have a Japanese Sake festival on the 12th and 13th of July, focusing on summer sake, so please come 😇
I'd love to volunteer next time too😇
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😀
I think Taido's Daiginjo would be a good match for you two 😀.
It is a precious sake blended from three different types of Daiginjos, and although it has a strong mouthfeel, it is very well-balanced and a bit heavy without being boring!
Yasubeyesan, thank you very much for your hard work for 3 days from the preparation of the Japanese Sake Festival 😊.
It's nice to be on the other side of the table and see a different view 😊I'm sure you gave good service because you are Yasubeyesan 👍✨I want to visit next time 😁.
Hi Pon 😀
It was a really good experience😇
We don't get many chances to see sake as a person from the brewery side 🤣.
I'm thinking of attending the next sake festival Osaka Summer in July again😇.
Japanese Sake Fest Osaka Spring 1️⃣
There are many sake events in Kansai during the year, but the event that our family recommends the most is the Japanese Sake Fest 😀.
It's an event where you can get close to the breweries and feel their thoughts directly😇.
Last year it was held 3 times during the year, and it looks like it will be held 3 times again this year 😀.
The first spring sake event of the year will be held at the Osaka Bay Tower today and tomorrow 😇
This time, I will not only participate as a customer, but also as a volunteer staff 🤣.
Yesterday, Friday, I took a half day off from work and participated in the event from setting up the venue 😀.
It was just like when I was a student and I had a great time 🙆.
On Sunday I will be there as a staff member, but today Kaorin and I went there as customers 😇.
First up is Taido from Chiyonen Sake Brewery in Kumamoto 😀.
This is my first time drinking here 😀.
I mean, Taido is brewed and sold jointly by Chiyozonoen and a local liquor store 😀.
I had Daiginjo, Junmai Shiboritate and Usu-Nigori and I really liked the Usu-Nigori the best 😇.
I plan to help out at this brewery 🙆 tomorrow.
Yasbay, the Japanese sake festival sounds like fun ✨ If you become a staff member of Chiyozonoen Sake Brewery, you will be able to enjoy the sake from the brewery with an extra touch 😋.
Good morning, Yasbay 😃.
I'm so glad to see that you are enjoying the event to the fullest 😳 You have been so active as always! I'm so glad you are enjoying the event to the fullest 😳🤗You have great energy as always!
Good evening Masaaki Sapporo-san 😀 😀 I've been pouring Chiyozono-san's sake all day today 🤣.
I've been pouring Chiyonen's sake all day today 🤣.
It makes us happy to see everyone smiling and enjoying the delicious food from the staff side 😇.
Good evening, Jay & Nobby 😀
It's not often that we get a chance to do something like this, so it was fun to be able to taste all sides of the event at once😇.
And I'm glad to know that Taido is a delicious sake that is distributed almost exclusively in Kumamoto Prefecture 😇.

Miscellaneous impressions
A small bottle of Taido that I happened to see.
It has a clean, dry mouthfeel that does not interfere with meals. The aroma that passes through the nose is pleasant.
I read your profile. I am not a member of Sake-no-Wa (I drank but could not comment), but I have been drinking for about 40 years and conquered all the prefectures a few years ago. I recommend you to visit all the prefectures because you can taste the sake and the snacks that would go well with the sake. Good luck!
