Cory bought this for me on his trip to Japan, which included a Doburoku Festival in Shirakawago. The label mentions a sharp taste to this sake and they were not exaggerating! It has a sharp, almost spicy flavor complemented by an almost unctuous richness. Delicious and fascinating!

Purchased as a souvenir for myself on a trip to Gifu. It is dry and highly aromatic. I tried heating it up, but I think it is better served cold. Looking forward to dinner.

Today I opened a bottle of Takayama sake that was sold at the Kanayama General Station last week. I got the numbering 100, limited to 168 bottles: ✌️ It's a very good sake, with a nice, strong taste. It is sweet and I think I will drink too much.

Sake purchased on a trip to Gifu. The taste of the water comes first. Then comes the gentle aroma and texture on the tongue. The taste is refreshing, but there is a little bit of spiciness at the end. It is a good sake. It is a delicious water-based sake. However, it is a little different from the sake made with delicious water in Yamanashi. Maybe it is the aroma.
