We tasted sake from Miyako in Michinoku-Iwate.
There are many brand names called "Otokoyama". It's probably the second most common after "‾Masamune".
At first, I felt it was a little crispy, probably because I drank it as a sake to accompany grilled meat, but when I drank it with a normal meal, I felt it was very mellow and mildly sweet. I think it is one of the richest sake in the northern part of Japan.
It was a beautiful, nectar-rich sake that made me want to pay tribute to the spirit of the brewery that brewed this delicious sake despite the earthquake.
