Summer Ureshino Sake from Saga, which you don't usually see, I happened to sample it at a department store and bought it because I liked it. It has a slightly bitter aftertaste and is very sharp, just right for getting rid of the heat.
It has been a long time since I have had a sake from Saga.
Both the aroma and taste are gorgeous, but it also has a gentle flavor, making it a good sake for a meal.
It is said to be named after a mutsugoro, a famous fish found in the Ariake Sea mud flats.
This is the first time for me to drink Tocho. The liquor store recommended it to me as sweet and tasty, so I bought it.
This may be the first time for me to drink Saga sake.
The first sip had a fruity aroma and felt smooth, tart and sweet. The spiciness comes in the second half, but it does not linger on the palate and the aftertaste is not bad. It is an easy-drinking sake.
The sweetness is strong, so it is recommended for those who like sweet sake!
I could enjoy the change in flavor after a few days with this sake.
