This sake was recommended (that day) by a beef tongue restaurant in Sendai. The sake was not too sweet nor too spicy, and went well with various dishes of beef tongue.
I am on a family trip to Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture.
It is dry and a little heavy which I like. It has a moderate aroma and goes well with pickled herring and shime saba (mackerel). Drinking this makes me want to eat more sashimi~!

I was able to get it without difficulty at a liquor store that is always overstocked 😁.
The aroma is more subdued than I expected. The sweetness comes through in the mouth, but it also has a nice, smooth finish, and a touch of a shwash that's surprisingly refreshing ✨.

The "Age Oke" is a tank that receives the sake that flows from the "Yabuta", the machine used to press the sake.
It is a raw sake made by directly bottling only the mellow and fresh sake from the top clear part of the new sake that has accumulated in the raised vat.
The aroma after opening the bottle is quite mellow 😚 In the mouth, you can taste the deep flavor of Delaware with a lot of gas and a touch of petitiveness 🍇 It has a sweet flavor at first, but then you can smell and taste as if it was brewed in a cedar barrel.
The aftertaste is spicy and you can feel the freshness of unfiltered unpasteurized sake and the delicious richness of the rice.
The owner of the sake shop advised me to try it heated! It has a sweeter and more gorgeous flavor, but the high alcohol content may also give it a bit of a zing 😁.

My son bought this sake for me as a sake lover in Fukushima. It is a little sweet and clear as only junmai sake can be. I will have it with pork shabu nabe. It was delicious 😋.
