These days, Niigata sake is not always light and dry.
It has the firmness of a pure sake with a freshness.
The sweet aroma that is so popular these days is not strong, but it is never harsh.
Local liquor recommended to me at a ski store in Myoko.
Alternately sweet and spicy, very pungent taste. Some woody aroma, some clear and natural spring water taste. I have heard that sweetfish like clean water, and the taste of clean water with such an atmosphere
Izakaya Monorail Niigata Sake 2️⃣
The Niigata Sake we had this time was all made from Gohyakumangoku 😀.
It is indeed a sake from a cold region of Japan 😀.
I knew the name of Ayu Masamune before, but I had passed it by thinking it was Niigata's dry sake, but I was surprised when I drank it for the first time this time ‼️🤣.
It was a delicious sake with a good balance of sweetness, sourness and bitterness.
Preconceptions and assumptions are not good 😅.
My wife chose this sake!
I heard it's the best recommendation of the owner of the restaurant 😀.
It's a dark nigori (a dark sake) but not too sweet, and it's okay to drink it with food ❔.

Yes, I went through 300 check-ins without realizing it. I was just thinking about it 🤭.
Actually, I was trying to figure out which drink to use to get to the 300 check-in.
I'll let you know about that drink...
