I guess it's time to warm up some sake. Here's a warming party of Isobeki, a recommended heated sake from my hometown in Aichi. It's good at room temperature, but it's also good at room temperature.

The sake shop was not open yet, so I got it at Mitsukoshi Hoshigaoka in person. 17% alcohol by volume.
Fruity but
It's fruity, but it's very rich. It's also good on the rocks.
Even for the same unfiltered sake, this one has a strong peculiar density and a strong presence on the palate. We strongly feel the difference in quality.
It is just so rich, and the umami flavor is brewed out of it. It has a strong throat and is very satisfying to drink, and seems to go well with many different kinds of meals.
It will be the Honjozo of Isobeki that we bought at the brewery's direct sales outlet on our last day in Nagoya.

It has a full-bodied sweet flavor, which is typical of Isobeki, but it has a light aftertaste, just like a honjozo.

I was in Nagoya on a drinking trip from Monday to Friday this week.
After checking into the hotel, I went to Sakeya Otake in Sakae to have a drink 😌.
It's an extra sake that is an assemblage of Isobeki Omachi and Yamadanishiki 🍶.
The first aroma is slightly sweet.

The brewery's store had it in the aged sake section, so I wonder if it was mixed with tank-aged sake.
I should have asked the lady at the kiosk😅.
The third and fourth pictures are of the brewery and direct sales area of the Isobeki Sake Brewery, about a 15-minute walk from Nunobukuro Station on the Meitetsu Inuyama Line.
It seems that Konishi-san in Kanda has become a special distributor in Tokyo, so I guess I will have more opportunities to drink it.

Many of the breweries in Nagoya don't have a direct sales office, so we didn't get to talk to the brewery staff much 🤔.
But it was nice to get a taste of the sake brewing atmosphere, including the surrounding streets ✨.
Today, after a company social event, a group of volunteers went out for sake drinking and had an after-party. When I came to this restaurant, I had a bottle of Isun Heki Honjozo. It was delicious and extremely clear, even though it was alky sake.
