Alcoholically, it is gutsy, but taste-wise, it is dry and refreshing. Speaking of Tanabata, Wakatake is a young bamboo. As a summer sake, it is delicious.
Shizuoka Prefecture
Special Junmai Namazake Onikoroshi
Polishing ratio 60
Alcohol 16%.
It has a simple rice flavor typical of junmai sake.
It has the freshness of a pure sake.
The sense of alcohol is strong.
A night full of Shizuoka trip ✨
I wasn't sure what it was made of.
I had a feeling it was a special ginjo or something along those lines😅.
For better or worse, it's easy to drink.
I honestly wasn't too impressed with it 🥺.
I'd like to try other kinds: ⭐︎
It has a soft sweetness and a pineapple-like ginjo aroma, followed slowly by a bitter taste.
Contrary to the image on the label, it is surprisingly refreshing.
There is no tingling feeling of alcohol at all, so it is easy to drink and tastes great.
