Shi
The only sake of the Satsuma clan!
Mmm! It has a habit! It's more like a peculiarity of rice, what is this! Junmai? Junmai! But it's not a peculiarity that hits the nose, it's a peculiarity that hits the upper jaw! It's similar, but different!
Sake from Ichiki-Kushikino City, Kagoshima Prefecture.
Ordered for the complete 47 prefectures.
The sweetness comes, and then the spiciness comes up like a hot spring. The spiciness itself is also quite sharp. The spiciness itself is also quite sharp and assertive in the throat, making for a great drinking experience. In the back of the mouth, a sweetness that is a bit dry appears and disappears quickly. It is basically dry, but not hard, soft and easy to drink.
This is good! It's good. Bikkuri Ponya (I'm drinking it this week while watching the rerun of Asa no irukata).
How about if you warm it up.
The first sip is quite sweet all the way through. The mouthfeel is hoppy. Like a sweet baked sweet potato.
The spiciness is backed up by the spiciness, but if you drink it alone, you may feel the bitterness and astringency associated with the spiciness is a little too much.
However, when paired with the accompaniments, the harshness and astringency are well harmonized, and the flavor is deepened. It leaves a lingering aftertaste with a sweetness that lingers in the aftertaste. It seems to have a wide range of compatibility with snacks.
It is also quite interesting as a heated sake.
No, it's quite an interesting and enjoyable sake!
Purchased at the Kagoshima prefecture antenna store in Yurakucho.
It said it was only available in Kagoshima prefecture.
It is slightly yellow.
We can feel sourness and bitterness, but when we put it in our mouth, we can also feel a slight sweetness. After that, we feel alcohol taste, but it is refreshing.
We visited a sake brewery in Kagoshima.
At the former site of a gold mine, they make potato shochu with golden malted rice in the basement and brew sake above ground.
Light fruit aroma
Soft and soft in the mouth, somehow sweet like sweetpotato shochu.
Kagoshima, after all? It's good!
Satsushu Masamune Junmai Ginjo
15% 60% 720ml 1650yen
I went to the Kinzan brewery in Kagoshima to buy some sake.
I also bought Junmai, but it was really delicious. Now, what about the Jungin?
The first sip after opening the bottle.
Oh, it has a sense of maturity. The flavor is the same as that of Junmai. The caramelized taste and the unique acidity increase the depth of flavor.
And the great thing about Satsushu Masamune is that it has a "shochu" feeling. This brewery is a shochu distillery.
It is also good when heated. It tastes like sweet potato honey. The sweetness is unique.
It is a famous Kagoshima shochu that does not imitate the latest fads, but is original.
By the way, the trolley at the brewery was closed due to the Corona, but it seems to have reopened recently. I must go back!

Satsushu Masamune Junmai
15% 70% 720ml 1447 yen
I went from Tokyo to the Hamada Shuzo Kanayama brewery in Kagoshima to buy this sake. The purpose of going to Kagoshima was to buy this sake. However, I made a mistake of going there on a day when the brewery was not open. But when I called them, they welcomed me. m(_ _)m Thank you very much for your help.
I went back to Tokyo and opened the bottle.
The first sip.
Ah, this is a taste I don't know.
It tastes like a cocktail, or like a "hokkori". If you compare it to a baked sweet potato, it tastes like a shochu liqueur. The sweetness is gentle, and there is a dry aftertaste.
The reason why we can feel the shochu taste is that this brewery makes sake as a research for the evolution of shochu. Hamada Shuzo has only been making sake in a shochu brewery for about 10 years. It has its own unique taste while still producing a strong sake flavor, so this must have many hidden fans.
When we brought it to the Kinshokai, it came in third place out of 16 brands. Some people noticed the different taste even though it was served blind. One first-timer, a sake novice, rated this Satsushu Masamune higher than Imi, Kuheiji, and Kaze no Mori, which made me smile.

@Kagoshima Yurakukan
Home brewed. Gorgeous aroma. Mild acidity and spiciness. Enjoy it as a food sake. Sake brewed at the Satsuma Kinzan brewery using natural water from Mt.
ALC 15 degrees. 60% polished rice.
Now we have completed the sake tasting of all 47 prefectures of Japan. The next goal is to go on a second tour.
Purchased at Ikebukuro Tobu, first Kagoshima sake in my life.
Polishing rice 60%.
The aroma of a strong acidity and alcohol mixed with a sharp taste prepared me for the drink.
When I drank it, I found it to be refreshing and easy to drink. It is sweet with a strong acidity.
It can be drunk by itself and goes well with food. I was surprised that this sake is from Kagoshima. It's totally possible.
Sake made from domestic rice with a milling ratio of 60% and brewed with water from the local subsoil of Mt.
It is easy to drink with a brown sugar-like sweetness and clean taste.
Sakurajima Little Mikan Belgian White🇧🇪 is delicious with a refreshing citrus flavor!
Kurobuta shabu shabu is the best❣️
Thank you all for the videophone drinking party the other night 😄💕.
We had a lot of fun and were so excited that we found ourselves drinking too much💦.
Well...
I actually went to Kagoshima in May 😽.
I took my mom to Ibusuki and Kagoshima City.
We also went to Sakurajima, which recently had a big eruption🌋.
My deepest sympathies to the people of Sakurajima.
And
We searched and searched for Kagoshima's sake, and here it is!
Satsushu Masamune, I got it just before I left on the last day ✨.
Tenpyo is hard to find even in the city😮💨.
And
Taste, mmmm, dry!
Sapphire straight dry!
So dry that it almost tasted like shochu on the first day!
I couldn't drink it all 💦 even though it's a small bottle.
On the second day, it finally got full-bodied dry!
Result.
Next time I want to try something other than this 🎵.
Good evening, mamai mamai!
I sometimes go on business trips to Kagoshima, but I've never seen Tenpyo.
Instead, this one was widely available as Satsuma sake ❗️.
I think it's very normal in terms of taste 😁...
Good evening, Chichi-san 🌠I remember you 😊Chichi-san, you took a picture of sake on the Sakurajima ferry 📸I took the ferry too! I didn't really see any sake 😅I heard there is a sake shop in Temmonkan but...
Hello ☀️, good morning, good afternoon!
Kagoshima 😳‼️I see you went to a far away place! Speaking of Ibusuki, did you try the sand bath onsen? It was so nice!
Hi Pon-chan, 🌈I went with peach airlines cheap ticket again ✈️Ibusuki was nice and quiet 🎵I also like sand bath 😻The lady in charge took my picture but I can't show you because I was half blind 😅.
Good morning, Luthertemi 🌈Thank you very much for your time 😊Some day we'll have a real drinking party 💕It's really hard to find sake in Kagoshima! Even there, there were more sake from Kyoto than Kagoshima 😅💦.
I was going to drink it with my last drink in the province but gave up 🫠.
It has aged unopened in cardboard 📦 and turned yellowish 😲.
Now I wonder what it tastes like 🤔
