The other day, I bought a Daiginjo of "Kanetsuru" from Sado Island after a little humpatsu at "Yoshiike" in Okachimachi. It seems that Kanetsuru is a popular everyday evening sake on Sadogashima, and this is the brewery's daiginjo-shu. It is a 40% polished Koshitanrei from Sado Island and priced at 2,800 yen including tax, which is a reasonable price considering that it is 40% polished. This daiginjo is gentle, smooth, elegant, and gentle. It has a pleasant fruity aroma, but it is not overflowing with aroma, but rather moderate. It has a sharpness and a lingering aftertaste that makes it dry, and it has a nostalgic depth that goes well with food. The main snack was canned mackerel that we bought on our trip to Hachinohe at the end of July. It is large, fatty, and delicious. I was told that the catch of squid, which I had hoped for in Hachinohe, has been decreasing in recent years, but I got the impression that mackerel was of consistently high quality at both izakaya and sushi restaurants👍.

Hiraccio-san Good evening. I haven't had it for a while, but I can understand why it is a staple sake of the people of Sado. It really doesn't spoil the meal, doesn't it? I want to drink it again!

Good evening, Mr. Sashu 😊. Golden crane is good👍 It really doesn't disturb the meal. I would like to go to Sado and drink it loosely, just regular sake.

Clear and dry Aroma of rice, smooth attack. The taste is clean and dry. It goes in smoothly and is light and full-bodied. Sado City Furusato Tax Trophy No. 6 The last of Sado's sake products is the popular Kaze-Yawaraka. This sake is smooth and easy to drink.

The second drink at the standing drink corner of Okachimachi Yoshiike. One cup of Tsururei was better than I expected, so I wanted to drink some more. A one-cup of Sado's Kanetsuru. I have bought it before and drank it at home, but today I drank it standing outdoors and wondered what impression it would make. Definitely a standard evening drink. It's good 👍. I heard that this Kanetsuru is the standard evening drink on Sado Island. I am a fan of Yoshiike in Okachimachi though, This is because the founder of Yoshiike is from Matsunoyama, Niigata Prefecture, and the supermarket's product lineup reflects this with plenty of Niigata ingredients and local sake. The supermarket is full of love for Niigata, and I often visit there because I consider Yoshi-ike as a hidden antenna store of Niigata Prefecture. The headquarters of the Niigata Kenjinkai is located in Okachimachi, and the first president of the Niigata Kenjinkai was the president of Yoshi-ike. Like my father, it was at Ueno Station where young people used to get off on the up train for mass employment. It was a turning point in their lives, a place where many thoughts and feelings were intertwined with the journey of their youth. The Ueno area. Today's refreshing autumn weather is perfect for a stroll👍.

Good evening, Mr. Hiraccio! Ueno is still the gateway to the north, isn't it? I too feel at home and at peace when I go to Ueno😊.

Good evening, Haruei Chichi 🌇. Exactly, Ueno is still the gateway to the north. The art museum, Ameyoko, Shinobazu Pond, Kan-eiji Temple, Asakusa, and the flower district if you go north of Asakusa. Today I felt again the depth of nostalgia of the Ueno area.

Good evening, Mr. Hiraccio. Drinking outside of Yoshiike is a new thing, isn't it? I thought it was a flute of taste, and you also buy akitagami and drink it at home, you are quite an iron man, I'm afraid 😅 Also the history of Yoshiike, amazing ‼️

Good evening Harry😊. The standing drinking spot in Yoshiike was truly a mini "Aji no Fue". There are about 8 different kinds of sake in one cup. They are open before noon, so you can easily have a drink before Aji no Fue opens👍.

clear and dry (wine) Slight aroma, smooth attack. The taste is clear and dry. It goes in smoothly and has a dry, full flavor. Sado City Furusato Tax Trophy #3: Again, we drank it in a Japanese cypress cellar. The aroma of the hinoki wood accentuates the dryness of the sake. It also makes you drink faster 🤣.

A glass of Sado's Kintsuru fresh-stored sake It is quite good, with a clean and crisp mouthfeel and spiciness. Slightly more elegant than the standard regular sake. Sake from the five breweries on Sado Island are all delicious, but my personal impression is that Kanetsuru is a good choice when it comes to the image of everyday drinking with seafood. Within Sadogashima, "Igoneri" is the best. On the mainland of Niigata Prefecture, "ego-neri," or hardened boiled ego-weed, is served as a snack. On Sado Island, the rolled type (in the foreground of the second photo) is cut into thin strips and served with chopped green onions and soy sauce. This is the first time I have had the rolled type. Recently, I heard from my daughter and niece that a video of a native of Sadogashima is popular on YouTube, etc. I watched it and found it quite addictive, making me want to try Igoneeri and go to Sadogashima. Ego-neri Sadogashima The aroma of the sea is very subtle. Healthy. Kinzuru is still a great match with sashimi👍.

Hi Hiraccio 😃 I've never eaten or heard of Igonye, is it a grass? Is it seaweed? I would like to look for it if there is a product exhibition. ⚾️ is over, if Ikuei won, Uragaku would have been 🥈😅.

Harry, it is seaweed! I bought it at Yoshiike in Okachimachi. I bought it at Yoshiike in Okachimachi. It's light, so it's more of a healthy chopstick rest than a snack. High school baseball ⚾️ is starting a new team👍

Good morning, Sashu 😊. Until last year, this fresh-stored sake from Kanetsuru was called "Ten no Yuzuru" and is also positioned as a summer sake. It has a good taste of rice, but it is also refreshing and crisp.

This year's production is also excellent! The finish can be enjoyed as a stand-alone sake or as a food sake. Not too floral, with just the right amount of sweetness and rounded freshness, and a nice astringent finish. Delicious, highly recommended.
