WAKANAMI TYPE-FY2
13°C sake that can be drunk like white wine on a hot day 🍶.
FY2" as it uses Fukuoka dream yeast #2.
Bananami, soft sweetness, and rounded acidity.
It is like a white wine after all.
I like it.
Compared to the 4BY, the 5BY is still a draft sake, but I get the impression that it has been corrected. We can expect to see more fire-aged sake as well.
The fruity sensation is exquisite WW.
Fukuoka Prefecture is raw sake from Wakanami Sake Brewery in Okawa City.
They always use sake that is truly delicious... ♪
The aroma is subdued and clean, like white grapes. In the mouth, a fresh acidity spreads. The slightly tangy acidity has a lingering apple-like flavor and finishes lightly.

Christmas 🎄× #Wakanami TYPE-FY2 Nama Sake
Fruity sweet aroma, freshly opened FY2-like numbing mouthfeel, but this time with a clear, thick umami that spreads three-dimensionally in the mouth, and then a slow pull 🥰.
Surprising and enjoyable, like a wave on the beach unexpectedly coming in knee-deep 🍶✨.
It's getting hot in Hokkaido, so I'm ready to open a bottle of Wakanami's Type-FY2 🍶✨It's only just opened, but this year's FY2 has a grapefruit-like acidity on the palate, followed by a slow and deliberate spread of flavor on the tongue 🌊.
Delicious 😋.
Wakanami's TYPE-FY2.
The malic acid derived from Fukuoka Dream Yeast #2 and citric acid derived from malted rice give it a broad, overwhelming acidity and a dry, crisp finish, which has become even more elegant with the change to use Fukuoka-produced Yamadanishiki!
