Aru Sake" by Wakanami Shuzo!
This taste and the feeling of push and pull.... I was able to correctly identify which sake was made to order! 🍶✨
I feel like a sake taster, and this way of drinking is fun too: ☺️
I might not see you this year... I thought I might not be able to see you this year...! We met at Yokohama Kimishimaya at a tasting by Ms. Yuka Imamura, the brewer of Wakanami Shuzo.
The honey-like aroma lured me in, the sizzling sensation caressing my tongue, and the deep, gentle, gentle waves 🍶✨The rush was so pleasant that I couldn't stop drinking 😋.
It has the freshness of a nama-shu, but the taste is deep like the deep sea. I like the fact that it is named after the sea, which is also deeply connected to the worldview of the drink ✨😋🍶.
Finally a break for a late dinner.
Wakanami Shuzo's Black Dragonfly 🍶✨There are no distributors in Hokkaido for the Dragonfly series, and only during the Black Dragonfly season, I have many opportunities to stop by Nishiyama-ya in Kawasaki on my business trips.
The freshly opened sake has a tangy sourness on the palate, and the black color of the label seems to suck you in 😋😋.
Very fruity and gorgeous aroma, but with body and sweet flavor 🍶✨.
It's also delicious with soba no miço yaki (buckwheat paste baked with soybean paste) 😋.
Christmas 🎄× #Wakanami TYPE-FY2 Nama Sake
Fruity sweet aroma, freshly opened FY2-like numbing mouthfeel, but this time with a clear, thick umami that spreads three-dimensionally in the mouth, and then a slow pull 🥰.
Surprising and enjoyable, like a wave on the beach unexpectedly coming in knee-deep 🍶✨.
Maruishi Brewery's 333rd anniversary sake 🐰二兎貴醸酒 純米吟醸 山田錦五十五🐰 has a creamy sweet aroma and a beautiful sweetness on the palate that is boldly and repeatedly spreading 🍶✨I would personally call it a "rice cocktail" with a delicious taste 🍸.
The birthday celebration ended, of course, with a cup of Wakanami 🍶✨ Junmai Ginjo Jukinmu, with a soft aroma of muscat, tangy acidity, sweetness, and a slow, bitter umami flavor 😋.
I had a cup of this at a stall at the Susukino Festival the other day 😋.
It has a smooth taste and a gorgeous flavor to enjoy. It is the kind of sake you want to enjoy with fireworks on a hot summer festival night 🍶✨.
Wakanami 2022 Tojo Yamadanishiki 🍶✨
The sweet aroma invites you to taste the crisp acidity and umami at the mouth, which quickly changes to sweetness again, and the lingering aftertaste lasts for a long, long time 😋.
It's getting hot in Hokkaido, so I'm ready to open a bottle of Wakanami's Type-FY2 🍶✨It's only just opened, but this year's FY2 has a grapefruit-like acidity on the palate, followed by a slow and deliberate spread of flavor on the tongue 🌊.
Delicious 😋.
Wakanami Honjozo from Wakanami Shuzo 🍶✨.
I had a chance to drink it at Shimizu Okonomiyaki in Osaka before, and I was hoping to have a chance to drink it again.
The taste is light on the palate for a moment, and then the umami spreads slowly, giving it a relaxing flavor 🥰 It seems to go well with strong-flavored snacks.
I haven't posted about sake lately... but I do drink it often 🍶Tokachi, which I brought to JOnsen. Kamikawa Taisetsu is now available in many places, which shows its popularity, and I can understand why it is so popular 🍶✨It is also available at New Chitose Airport.
Junmai Ginjo Black Dragonfly by Wakanami Shuzo.
It's hard to find in Hokkaido, and every spring I look forward to getting my hands on one and opening it 🍶✨😋.
This year's Black Dragonfly has a soft and sweet aroma. The clear flavor is sweet and soft on the tongue, but when you finish it, it is full-bodied. It's a wonder 🥰🥰🥰.
I bought a bottle of Takanome 🍶✨ out of curiosity.
The sweetness spreads smoothly and gradates to a soft bitterness and umami, yet it's still a well-rounded drink. I would love to drink it at a party 😋.
