This will be my 499th sake brand. Wakanami is a popular Fukuoka sake. I don't think it has been included in the all-you-can-drink menu at past reunions. This was my first time at this brewery. The aroma did not stand out that much when poured into a vessel. The aroma is between melon and banana, and it spreads on the palate with sourness. It has a refreshing and cool feeling. It is also light and seems to increase the amount of sake. It was made with the image of a refreshing sake for hot summer days, which is understandable.

Good morning ichiro18, I've been reaching for 45 years. Wakanami is one of the sake that I can drink more and more. It's just a pity that the sake shop in Fukuoka City where I first fell in love with sake is no longer there.

But the spiciness doesn't get stronger as you drink, and I would say there is a fruity sweetness as well! Wine... or rather wine because there is no whiteness?

Of course, I had been walking at the Expo Park during the summer, but I used to drink only canned chuhai during the hot season, but now that the weather has improved, it's been a long time since I brought my own sake 😀.
The sake I brought was TYPE-FY2 from Fukuoka Wakanami Sake Brewery 😀.
I've had Wakanami's sake many times, but this is the first time I've had it 😇.
The sweetness of the rice spreads on the palate, followed by a fruity sweetness with a hint of apple 😀.
It was a very tasty sake, and it sunk into my body that was starting to sweat after walking in the sunny weather. 🙆♂️

Like white wine. Alcohol 13 degrees.
It has a beautiful muscat-like top note and ginjo aroma. It is refreshing but has a good body. It is refreshing and easy to drink.
Nose: Slight ginjo aroma, elegant melon and green apple type fruit aroma
Mouthfeel: Light and fresh. Very soft and smooth for 13% alcohol.
Taste: Gentle and full, with a subtle sweetness and refreshing acidity coexisting in good balance.
