When poured into a glass, it has a thickened feeling, and as the label says, it looks like it might be thick. The first sip was indeed rich, but there was no unpleasant taste at all, and the lingering aftertaste was cool and refreshing. I was impressed by the fact that there are still sake with a flavor I had never tasted before.

The label is cool and summery and attracts me.
The aroma is a little sourness and rice.
The taste is rice! It's clearly shwashy, but not too strong. But it tastes completely of rice. It is a summer sake, but it is not sour or anything like that. Rice, umami, shuwashuwa, that's all! It's like a soda, but it's a nice soda that would go well with strong Japanese food.
As the day goes by, the fizziness decreases, but the rice flavor is still there. On the other hand, there is no fruitiness at all. It is dry and sharp with a strong umami flavor.
It is not what it appears to be, a refreshing, light, rummy sake, but it has a full-bodied umami flavor.
We enjoyed it with a snack with a strong flavor.

I bought this one at the same time as the wakamusume Bunbun, but they were both different types of delicious and I bought them both home 🤭.
