Purchased at the Fujii Honke Storehouse Opening
Made with "Ginbukietsu" sake rice
The strong alcohol taste of the original sake, but the gorgeousness of the ginjo sake and the mild sweetness of the rice that comes afterward give a satisfying sensation.
At the brewery opening, you can enjoy unlimited sake tasting with a cup of sake for 1,500 yen. Also, there were specialties of Shiga Prefecture such as red konnyaku and shrimp beans, and we drank too much with these snacks!
Fujii Honke
Asahi Nikki Shiga Watabune Roku Junmai Genshu
This brewery is located in Aisho-cho, Shiga Prefecture.
This sake is named after the rice used to make it.
It is the parent rice of Yamada-Nishiki.
It has a robust rice flavor and a rich, full-bodied taste.

This year's Risshun morning pressing is also from Shiga!
Fujii Honke brews the sacred sake for the Shinmai Festival, and this is a very auspicious sake that was prayed for at the neighboring Ohlong Shrine✨.
Last year, the sake tasted better when it was left to sit for a while after opening, so we drank it slowly again this year.
Rice polishing ratio 60
Alcohol 17%.
Fruity aroma, slightly fruity when you drink it. Soft umami, clear acidity, and a little spiciness. Still has a hard taste.
I'm looking forward to the change 🎶 because after a little time, it has a sweet taste.
On the second day, sweetness has appeared!
The pungency has lessened and I can feel the bitterness
It's easier to drink than the first day 🎶
On the 4th day, the sweetness follows after the umami, and the aftertaste is clean.
There is a sense of cohesion.
Even on the 5th day, it still has a fruity aroma and a flavor centered on umami.
This is delicious in its own way!
Last year I preferred the 5th day, but this year I enjoyed it earlier, from the 2nd to 4th day: ❣️
Also, the sweetness was stronger last year 🙄.
Thank you to the brewer and the liquor store for another delicious sake 🙏!
Good evening, Pon. 😊
Five separate reviews,
I am always impressed. 😓
I don't drink every day, so I drink a four-pack
I don't drink every day, so I drink the shogobottle twice and the bottle three to four times.
I drink it in 3-4 times 😅. 😅
Good evening, Pon-chan 😀
That is indeed the Risshun Asashibori from Shiga ❤️ 😀
I think I appreciate sake brewed by local breweries more, especially when it is pressed in the morning of Risshun 😀.
Good evening, Pon 😃.
I like local sake for these drinks: ☺️
And the great luck shining on the back of the label over the sake 🤩.
I wonder if it's a lot like a fortune or if they all have great luck 🤔 whatever it is, it's going to be good 😁.
Good evening, Pon-chan.
The Risshun morning pressing at various breweries.
Everyone is enjoying it in their own way, aren't they?
( ⌯'-'⌯)♡♡
This one is Senkou every year.
Sentori every year.
Good evening, Ponchan!
Morning pressing is a local luxury.
I failed to reserve a bottle of Tsuki no Katsura and will not be able to drink it this year 😅.
I failed to reserve a bottle of Tsuki no Katsura this year 😅.
Good evening, Ponchan 😃.
The most impressive Risshun morning squeeze I drank last year was the Rising Sun 😊It looks as good this year as it did last year 😋.
Ponchan konbanhar(o´ωo)no~~~
Thanks for the taste change review (ˆ꜆ . ̫ . . 🍵)🍵.
It takes a long time to drink a bottle with high strength 😅.
I'm working hard on a bottle right now💦.
Hi Pon 😃
Your review of the taste change from freshly squeezed to 5 days is very helpful for everyone 🤗The faintly visible daikichi is also goo👍I guess some people might finish drinking without noticing these things😅we don't seem to notice it either 😆.
Good morning, Pon-chan 😊
I see you bought Risshun Asa Shibori!
I don't buy it every year 😰.
I will buy it next year because it is a good luck charm! Kyoto is either Tsuki no Katsura or Shuten Doji 😁.
Very easy to understand review 😁👌
Hi Yasubey, 🐦.
I can't miss the local one because it's a good luck charm, but when I found out that you can buy the one in other prefectures, I thought about buying another one this year but completely forgot 🤣 next year I'll buy the local one plus the other one 😁.
Hi Aladdin 🐦.
I thought perhaps it was all Daikichi... 🤔I thought it was called Risshun Daikichi to ward off demons 🤔It was Daikichi last year too ❣️
If you look at the back and see a small fortune, you'll be sad 😁.
Hi Sugi 🐦.
Nice 〰〰 Senkou's morning squeeze 😍 absolutely delicious👍.
I'm late to the party, but I look forward to it every year as my 4th post will be full of similar labels 😊🎶.
Hi Takubon-san 🐦.
Yes, it's really luxurious ✨I'm thinking of going to Kyoto next year to buy another bottle 😊I forgot to book it this year, so I'll have to remember 💦.
Hi Eririn 🐦.
I've been drinking a four-pack for days 〰🤣I don't think Eririn would last more than two days 😁.
I wonder if she drinks only one bottle of alcohol 🤔 looking forward to your review 😉.
Hi Jay & Nobby 🐦.
I'm a little chibi so I let it be my daily progress 😅I think the 3rd day might have been the best 😱 😂.
I'm so happy to hear about your great luck ❣️ maybe it's the backside to ward off the demons🤔.
Hi Pon-chan!
I see you drank the Shiga version of "Risshun Asa Shibori" 😁.
Oh... I see that there was a [Daikichi] sign on the back of the Raven! I see that there was a "Daikichi" sign on the back of the Raben, I'll check it later ✨.
Hi Gyve, good evening 🦉.
It's been a long time since Risshun while I was drinking 😂The Shiga version was delicious too 😊.
The Daikichi makes me feel even more lucky 😁👍.
Good evening, Kozo-san 🦉.
I really want to compare the sake 😆 I was going to go to Asano Sake Shop where you can drink 6 kinds of sake but it didn't happen 😢I want to drink it at home 🤣I'll try 2 bottles next year for now 😁.
The Asahi Nikkohi, which my friend had reserved for me, was a delicious sake that could be drunk even in the morning with its fruity and moderately nigori impression. It went well with the lucky beans we had purchased at the Setsubun Festival the day before and the Setsubun-only Nama-yatsuhashi (fresh yatsuhashi). As my friend said, it was like a freshly pressed rice juice.
Selected from the dry genre. It is a good quality sake that can be easily drunk as a food sake. It was the best match for shabu-shabu. (Later, I tried the rest of the sake with motsu nabe, but it was a bit too much and I felt it was not enough.)
Fujii Honke
Asahi Hiyahi Hiyahi Oroshi Special Honjozo
This brewery is located in Aisho-cho, Shiga Prefecture.
The rice is polished to 70% Shiga-grown "Tamakae".
It has a gentle grain aroma, a mild rice flavor, and a full-bodied taste.
The taste is full and full of rice flavor with a clean and crisp aftertaste.
A clean and crisp aftertaste.
