Salmon Monogatari in Kansai (8)
Eye-catching retro label. I think it was a good choice.
Fruity and gorgeous. It was moderately sweet and gave the impression of being alsobe-like at the end.
I don't remember much, but we talked a lot and got a pamphlet and flyer. Too bad they were sold out of Watanosen's raw sake 😥.
Next to the booth was Taga's booth, and the toji-san (I guess) came in to the conversation every now and then. I wonder if the breweries are on good terms with each other.
Taga brought their AZM series! but I didn't drink it 💦.
Sakemonogatari in Kansai(*)
It is a hiyaoroshi of honjozo with a slightly sweet taste and a sense of grain!
It is well balanced, probably because it is a honjozo.
I would definitely like to drink it with an appetizer!
This year, we are only participating in outdoor events because we are still afraid of the new koro, but I think it is very nice to drink under the blue sky!
Shinjou, every time ❗️
I see.
So that's your intention in participating in outdoor events 😁.
I guess we can enjoy the outdoors for another month or so👍
Maido (¡Ω)!
Good thing it's hot this year!
I'll go to any event where I can enjoy myself without fear of the new colo!
I don't mind the cold in winter, but it's difficult because even if I heat up the water, it cools down in seconds!
winged bean (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus)
Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris var. amplexicaulis)
Ingredients you eat for the first time and
and a variety of special dishes 🤤.
I will visit again 🙏.
On 8/12, Asahi no Hi fair was held at the brewery of Asahi no Hi.
About 10 kinds of sake and keg sake were served. It was very hot outside, but inside the brewery was cool and the sake was delicious. It was delicious!
There were lots of snacks and it was a fun summer fair. 🎶
I bought this sake then. It's a rich sake with lots of flavor because it's a jusui brew. It's not explosive, but it's also a bit fizzy and modern for a classic Asahi. 😋😋.
The sake from Aisho-cho, where my ancestors' graves are located, is delicious, and it is also a very good sake! I was grateful for the sake, thinking that it was the voice of Buddha telling me to come visit the graves.
Fujii Honke is an amazing brewery with a long history and ties to the royal family.
I was allowed to taste about 11 different kinds of sake, and since I was on foot, I carefully selected this one.
It is very common to find that the best tasting sake is the standard Junmai sake when you drink both expensive and cheap sake blind 😂.
This is an example.
The interesting thing about sake is that high price does not always equal good taste. 💁♂️
TAMAEI 60%
Color → clear
Aroma→Modest, with a hint of melon.
Taste →Balanced in both sweetness and deliciousness. ‼️ I still like the taste even when I drink it at home. ❤️
It can be served cold or warmed, and can be used with any foodstuff.
If you buy a bottle of Asahinichi, I hope you include one of these 🤭.
When I asked for sake from the Kinki region, he offered it to me.
I drank Shiga's sake for the first time! I heard that Shiga is actually a prefecture with a lot of good sake 😌.
The sweetness slowly spreads in your mouth, but it's refreshing!
It was delicious, and went well with the dark miso-based snacks.
GW is making a tour of breweries. Today we are at Shiga Fujii Honke in Asahi.
You can keep drinking various kinds of sake for 1,500 yen.
I especially like the barrel sake that you can drink in the historical brewery. 🎶.
The best sake to drink against the thermal tank. 😃😀😀
