Famous for its local commercial "Senpuku ichiru desu ka" ("How about a cup of Senpuku?"). The once-a-year summer sake is sweet, sour and juicy. Filet Cutlet and
This is my first cup sake.
It has a slightly peculiar sweetness following the umami of the rice, but the sharpness is good and does not linger.
I took a sip at room temperature and then tried heating it up by rinsing it, but I personally preferred it at room temperature.

A gift in addition to the above.
One of the 2018 brewing at the time of the release of the movie "In This Corner of the World". The film depicts the life of Suzu-san, who came to marry in the wartime military port city of Kure. I remember seeing it for the first time in the movie theater and was hit by a wave of emotion that cannot be described in words of emotion, and it dragged me back to the point of going to see it again a week later.
It has aged well over the past 6 years and has turned into a sweet, rich, mellow beer.
Miyake Honten, which brews Senpuku, is a sake brewery in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture, where the film is set. The company was in charge of brewing sake for the Imperial Navy's naval vessels, and for a time before World War II, it was the largest sake brewery in Japan in terms of production, earning it the title of "King of Sake.
This sake is a drink that brings back memories and history.
Rice polishing ratio: 60
Rice used: Senbon-Nishiki produced in Hiroshima Prefecture
Alcohol content: 16.5%.
It is unfiltered and has strong bitterness, sweetness and acidity.
It's quite rich and the yeast flavor is coming through quite well.
Nice creamy, throaty aftertaste.
New Spring Sake Set
The set includes two different kinds of sake, one dry and the other sweet (lol).
The accompaniment was grilled Kyoto red chicken with sansho (Japanese pepper).

Senpuku Summer Matori Nigori Sake.
It is a nigori sake, but it is creamy yet refreshing, and I would like to enjoy it in the summer.
I heard that it is also good to mix it with cider, so I would like to try it.
Tonight, I will enjoy it with tsukune.
The sake I usually drink is clear and colorless, and the slightly yellowish color is somewhat unusual.
I did not like the old sake-like aroma, but it was not that peculiar.
The heating guideline was written on the label, so I peeled off the lid and microwaved it for 1 minute at 500W. The aroma of alcohol was too strong for me to drink, so I left it for a little while, but I still had a little trouble and could not drink even one cup!
