We were served this because it was an interesting name. It claims to be dry, but as the owner said, I didn't feel it was dry. It was fruity and delicious. I was too nervous to remember the detailed flavors. LOL!
This sake is characterized by a citrusy taste with a yogurt-like fermentation and a woody, grapefruit-like flavor. It has a strong acidity, plus some bitterness in the second half. The lemon-like freshness is pleasantly white wine-like. It is lightly cloudy and has a delicious rice flavor. It is a low-alcohol, easy-to-drink sake.
The concept of this sake is that it goes well with seafood, and it certainly seems to go well with oysters, seafood, and white meat fish. I had it with fried oysters and it was a great match.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
It starts with a fruity aroma and is quite slightly effervescent. It is definitely delicious and my stable favorite. Goes very well with grilled white eel. Highly recommended!
