Things from the past
Here is a quick update of things I vaguely remember from the past.
Aizu Musume is the usual one so no problem 👌
The white one in the middle of the second picture is the nigori from Azuma Rikishi 🦍.
I've never seen nigori this thick before and it was shocking 😲🐴🐴.
Hi Jay & Nobby 😆.
What can I say about this one 👌, it was so interesting that I had to have another one several times before I ran out of it 🤣.
I saw in the past that Drunken Summer 🍉 was also an Azuma Rikishi⁉
There are so many different kinds of Tochigi sake ✨👏.
Aizu Musume Junmai Ginjo-shu Yamadaho
Beautiful vinegary iso-type aroma!
On the palate, I felt a slightly tropical fruitiness 🥭 with a sweet dark fruity taste! But it was suppressed in the middle and the acidity? and sharp taste! ☺️
It has a very good aftertaste and seems to be good as a food sake 😘.
It is mellow and has a nice aroma with just a hint of a good flavor. The aftertaste also gives the feeling that the alcohol is leaving the body, so you get the feeling that you are drinking sake.
It's so delicious~! I am so impressed!
It has a light, lychee-like sweet and sour taste, and the alcohol quickly cuts through!
I heard that this one was made from rice harvested in a rice field called Hanasaka Sakaibai 22, which is part of the Jo series named after rice fields. The lot number is nice and premium.
This makes me want to try the others!
Aizu Musume is the best!
Repeat purchase. 3,000 yen for 1.8l is the most cost-effective bottle so far!
It has a melon-like aroma and a bitter taste that lingers in the back of the throat.
Today I served it with summery bonito and eggplant!
Thank you very much!
Slightly fruity and refreshing ginjo aroma
Smooth mouthfeel with a slight carbonation, followed by a rich umami and sweetness reminiscent of white grapes, and a lingering acidity.
Aizumusume Omachi
During a walk, my wife said, "I'm thinking it's time to get serious about Aizu Musume," so somewhat bewildered, I went out to buy one.
Named to symbolize the locality of Aizu and the brewer's desire to express it in a friendly way.
It has a slightly melon-like, fresh, grassy aroma and bitterness, and as you drink it, it seems to get sweeter.
