#Nagoya Nishiki 3-chome#
Today's business trip is to Nagoya.
I have a little time before the evening dinner.
I bought this nigori sake 🤗🤗🤗 on the way.
It's a bit like doburoku 😅
The acidity is thin and the sweetness is subdued🤔.
I should have chilled this one 💦😅😅
Last night I had a craving for nigori sake, and today I couldn't stop myself from drinking it. I went to the liquor store and selected the darkest one I could find.
Yes, it was a bit thicker than I expected.
Chicken hearts and wakame seaweed from Nippuga Island in shabu-shabu.
This nigorizake is so thick that it thickens to a thick consistency. However, it is soft on the palate, with a good balance of acidity, sweetness, and umami. It is best paired with a sprinkling of sansho (Japanese pepper) to increase the freshness of the sake.
On days like this when you still feel the cold of winter, it's nigori sake from Shirakawa-go. We will have it with chicken meat in miso nabe🍲 (don't forget the "kanzuri" condiment!). (Don't forget to add "kanzuri" as a condiment to the nabe 😉!)
Cloudy white color. Aroma of rice. The aroma is weak. The mouthfeel is thick and sweet. Rough texture on the tongue. Sharp bitterness. Relatively sharp and short aftertaste. Refreshing sake.
