At home. First time in Gifu, Shirakawa-go. It's very thick, even among the nigorizake I've drunk. The aroma is like sweet sake. When you put it in your mouth, you can feel the sweetness of the rice and grain, and the sourness. The texture is tart and leaves a little residue on the tongue, but it's not unpleasant. I think it is best served on the rocks.

New sake is ready this year too 🍶🎶Shirakawa-go Junmai Nigori Sake. It is very thick. If you cool it down, it doesn't feel so sweet. There is a freshness at the back. The bitterness after the umami is also good. It is good with strong dishes. It is a delicious sake 😊.

After the decisive battle in Sekigahara, we were allowed to taste the nigorigo (a sweet sake). It was sweeter and tastier than Shirakawa-go, which I had drunk in the past. The sales clerk said it would be delicious as a sorbet. The only problem is that it has to be frozen 🤔. I've been looking at the website and they have a 300ml bottle so I'm wondering if this one will fit in there.

I would give you an offline meeting, but everyone else is raising... Japanese Sake Fest continued😅 Gifu Prefecture Miwa Shuzo "Shirakawa-go" and "Kessen Sekigahara" booth. This is also the second time. Last time they brought various kinds of "Shirakawa-go" like a doburoku shop, but this time they looked like a different brewery and their features were reduced to half😅. When I said "It looks like a different brewery", they said "We couldn't serve nigori suddenly...it was a rush job". 🤔. I stopped asking too much about it and tasted it. Shirakawa-go Junmai Nigori Frozen Nama Sake Junmai Daiginjo Kessen Sekigahara Ikawasei Hatsugun E 🔴. Junmai Daiginjo Kessen Sekigahara Ikasei Hatsujin Nishigun W 🔴. Decisive Battle Sekigahara" doesn't impress me much 😅. Shirakawa-go" seems to have been brought frozen safely, and is indeed a solid sweet nigori.

Lately, I've been drinking nigori sake, which is a kind of doburoku, I'm addicted to drinking it with soda 😆. It's as thick as yogurt 😆. It's so rich even when mixed 1:1 with soda! This one is really not too sweet! You can drink it with a sour taste and feel refreshed. ❣️ I want to try other nigori with soda 🎶.

Bought at Yamaya because of PayPay 25% reduction. Tasteless. It's twisted. I was surprised that this is Junmai Ginjo. It must have been stored badly. I'll have sake shabu-shabu.
