Yesterday, I arrived in Kagawa again from Okayama!
After enjoying chicken on the bone and 🍺, we went on our regular tour of the local supermarket. In addition to jakoten and spanish mackerel, I also found some ume-nishiki, which I will drink at the hotel ✨.
When you open the bottle, it has a softly sweet aroma of custard and sugarcane.
The mouthfeel is round and soft. The soft sweetness is tightened by acidity and astringency. It is not too sticky and is easy to drink!
It goes well with jako-ten (fish cake) and spanish mackerel.
The day ended with me wanting to eat jakoten endlessly.
Leading up to today👍
Good evening, Masaaki!
I was reminded once again of the charm of Kagawa, with its different qualities of sipping sake with fresh fish from the Seto Inland Sea or going all out with beer and meat on the bone 😋.
This is the third sake I bought at Tobu in Funabashi, and the first Ehime. I was going to buy a 4-goupe bottle of Ishizuchi, but after tasting Hanagaki, I decided to buy that one, and decided to buy Ume Nishiki, which has a 1-goupe bottle of Ehime. I will buy Ishizuchi another time...
It was quite good, sweeter and more umami than I expected, and I don't think I would have regretted buying the 4-glass bottle...I mean, 1-glass bottle is still a bit too much to drink😖.
Good evening, freelancer first generation man 😃.
Congratulations on your Ehime 🍶 burial ㊗️ with Ume Nishiki 🎉I've only had 2 bottles of Ehime 😅 so that's helpful 🤗.
Hello, Jay and Nobby!
Thank you very much. The only Ehime sake I can find is this one and Ishizuchi, so I have a feeling I will have to stop at two bottles myself... I guess I will have to go to Shikoku, huh?
Heppoko's Ehime debut ㊗️🎉㊗️.
I went to a department store while I was at work and saw this girl 🤗🤗. I was at work when I went to the department store and saw this girl! (I was at work, right? (I'm at work, right?! lol).
So here's my review😊. A solid classic THE Han sake 🍶 (who knew?!). It's a classic sake. Looks like it would go well with oden and other dishes. And then...salt 🧂‼︎. Salt and this baby will make a perpetual spiral 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 (← it will destroy your liver, though. (It will destroy your liver, though. lol).

Ume Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo brewed by Ume Nishiki Yamakawa
This one is a gift 😆.
It is a very high spec sake 😆.
When I drank it, it did not disappoint 🌠.
It's a dark juicy & delicious explosion of flavor 😆.
It is indeed perfection 😍.

I wanted to drink Hakutsuru-Nishiki, so I tasted it.
Junmai Daiginjo Hakutsuru Nishiki
The aroma is gorgeous, and the taste is fruity and full-bodied. It is beautifully sweet and delicious.
◯Shu Isshuji Junmai Ginjo Genshu
Slightly acidic aroma, strong acidity, and a slight sourness in the aftertaste.
I wondered if it was OK, even though it was the same brand name as that of Rimori Shuzo in Okayama Prefecture. I wondered.
Super Special Shusen Hideyoshi
This is a sweet sake. It has a sharp sake-like taste, but it is soaked in the mouth with a mildly sweet flavor. (I forgot to take a picture...)
We had a guest from Ehime, so we didn't have much time to talk to him, and moved on.
It has the strength of a rich rice flavor and aroma, as if it were punching you in the face.
This sake seems to embody the image of "sake" that I had before I started drinking sake.
